A/N- there's not much more left of this book (I might go up to 15 chapters) although I would consider possibly writing a sequel... I mean if you guys are okay with that.

Jack and May are in the car to school, as they do every morning. May is playing an Iron Maiden CD and attempting to sing along. I say attempting because May Barakat has certainly not got The X Factor.
"May, can you give my friends a lift home from school today?" Jack asks, using that pleading voice.
"Sure," she replies. "As long as it's not that Penis Weasel dude."
"No, it's not P. Weezy," Jack replies. "It's Alex, Tay and Meagan, you know the ones I told you about."
"Yeah, it'll be good to finally meet your friends," May smiles.
"Yeah, so I'll just meet you by the car, as usual, but with my friends," Jack goes over the plans. "Just don't embarrass me, okay?"
"Hey, I won't!" May replies. "When have I ever been embarrassing!?"
"Uh, your singing just now?" Jack replies.
"My singing is amazing, I don't know what you're on about!"
"Yeah, whatever," Jack replies as they reach the school. "Just don't do it in front of my friends, okay?"
"Okay, see you later!" May says as Jack leaves the car in search of his friends.
"Hey!" Tay greets Jack as he joins the group standing at Alex's psychedelic locker.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Jack asks.
"Not much," Alex replies.
"Me and Tay are together!" Meagan squeals.
"Wow," Jack replies. "I, uh, wasn't expecting that."
"Yeah, they're like super together," Alex adds, whatever that's supposed to mean.
"No, that's great," Jack congratulates the girls, making them both blush. "It's good that you've moved on from P."
"Well we have Tay to thank for that," Meagan says, looking at her girlfriend with admiration.
"See, I'm just such a great person," Tay jokes.
"You really are, though," Meagan says. "Don't doubt yourself so much, you're amazing."
"Okay guys, that's enough sickly romantic-ness for one day," Alex cuts off their cuteness.
"Alex, don't be such a party-pooper!" Jack scolds. "They were having a moment!"
"Yeah, whatever," Alex rolls his eyes.
"Anyway, do you guys want to come round to mine after school today?" Jack asks. "We could get pizza, or Chinese takeaway?"
"Yeah, sounds great!" Alex says, maybe a bit too enthusiastically.
Meagan looks to Tay, who nods as clarification, then they both turn to Jack and agree to go.
"Great! Well I'll meet you by the parking lot at the end of the day, and my sister will drive us!"
