Sarah suddenly gasped.
They had been gathering supplies for their hunt for the next chosen one. She had lifted up a catnip leaf, inspecting it for bruises.
Now it lay forgotten on the ground.
"Sarah?" Jay asked, sensing something was not right.
She turned to him, her green eyes suddenly filled with a eerie glow.
"A kit given to the stars. A life taken from the jars. A sister missed by family. A brother lost mortality. A sightless sibling, with anger dwells. A cursed claw doomed, destiny excels. A wolf overcome of fear. A darkness itching, inside tears. A ghost, naive into fate's plan. A lonely soul, through woods she ran."
It was a prophecy.
