Michael got fixed on his bed and took a deep breath.
"So basically I was bullied a lot in high school. Like badly. There were these groups of boys that would kick and punch me all the time. By the end of the year I had broken my arm and leg twice. It was just really bad Skyler. I don't know how to explain it any other way. Anyway after graduation I got the anxiety. Calum and I moved here and I haven't left this apartment since. Calum always stuck up for me. He's been in his fair share of fights. I wish I could come out of this room and see my best friend and hug him. But I can't. I can't because of this stupid disorder. I hate it. I just want to be normal." He wiped his eyes and so did I.
"Why are you crying?" He asked.
"It's just hard to see a friend in pain." I said.
"I'm okay now. It's over. I just still have this stupid anxiety." He frowned.
"I want more than anything for you to get over this." I told him.
I wanted him to be what he considered normal.
"I'm glad we met Skyler. I um- I really like you." He said.
"Like how?" I asked.
"Like more than a friend." He said shyly.
"I just might feel the same way." I smiled.
"Really!" Michael smiled back.
I nodded. Then Calum texted me and asked if I was talking to Michael.
"Calum?" Michael asked.
"Yeah." I laughed.
"I'm going to go play some games and eat the candy you got me." Michael smiled.
"Okay." I said.
"I'll talk to you tonight." He said.
"Okay." I said again and we ended the conversation.
