Epilogue:

It had started out like every other normal day. A normal week filled with school, volleyball, and church.....nothing dramatic...nothing special. It was so mundane that I barely even remember the details. I wish I could say that I saw it coming... that I had a "feeling", but there was nothing spooky about it. It just Happened. I'm sure by now you're like Get on with it! So without further ado, this is how a moment changed it all. My life would never be the same for better...or worse.

Chapter One~

My phone rang as I attempted to find the clothes I needed to pack. We were leaving for the volleyball trip to New York tomorrow and I could not find my jersey! I snatched the phone off the bed, or tried to anyway, but it slipped and I ended up playing a juggling game while trying Not to drop it on the floor. This is starting out so well, I thought sarcastically to myself. I had missed the call, but it was Bekah so I knew I was sure to get an interesting voicemail. Sure enough I got the notification that I indeed had a voicemail. I almost didn't want to hit the button, for I never knew what to expect from Bekah.

"Dumb Dumb! Why didn't you answer the phone?!?! I bet you are having issues packing, so open the front door so I can help you. See ya!"

I hear the knock and one of my sisters opens the door. In but a second Bekah sweeps into the room with two coffees in her hands and that usual crazy grin on her face. I can't help it, it's contagious so I grin back as I take the coffee. "Thanks I really needed this", I say. Bekah makes herself comfortable of the edge of the bed.

" So, I pulled a few strings and I think I can officially come with you guys to keep books!" Bekah has been trying desperately to get out of her other after school jobs for three main reasons...

She wants to help the team because she loves volleyball.

She wants to hang out with me because she loves me.

(And probably the main reason) Kyle is going also.

"Ah so now you get to teach Kyle the books and try that teasing/flirting you have been trying to work up the courage for." She blushes and I grin. I take great pleasure in teasing her till she turns as bright red as her crush's hair. I also tease because I really think they would be a good match. Kyle could use a good relationship after the last one he had. He needed someone like Bekah, and since he is my cousin.. I feel the need to kind of "step in" and encourage.

"I am there to cheer you on Toya!" Bekah insists. I laugh but then say, "Could you help me find my jersey, please? I swear it ran off!" Bekah looks around as I stuff my kneepads into the bag beside her. She lifts the bag and pulls the jersey out from under it. Seriously!?!? I am loosing it! I

take it and stuff it in too. Bekah sets down the coffee and begins folding everything inside the bag. "Latoya, calm down. You are too worked up about this trip. You are an excellent setter, and you are going to do extremely well." I take a breath and give her a small smile that I know won't fool her. We continue packing and then decide to watch an episode of Supernatural. Bekah is way behind so I'm helping her catch up. When it ends, she heads home to do her own packing. She is freaking out about finding cute outfits to help attract Kyle. She is so silly. I head to the shower and then off to bed where I won't sleep for a few hours. So I guess I will have to work on that story I have been writing for Bekah....
