Chapter 16

(Your PoV)

I was lying in bed. The house was cold and quiet since I was the only one there. Well that's what I thought anyway.

I looked at my digital clock which read 12:09am. Midnight snack timeeeeeeeeee.

I sat up and put my feet on the floor. I lifted my self from the bed and almost fell back into it when something grabbed my leg.

"Ahhh what the-"

Whatever (or whoever) was holding onto me yanked on my leg and pulled me down onto my bedroom floor.

"!"

I was dragged under my bed.

"I apologise for being so violent." A voice that I didn't recognise said, "but this is important, and if I am seen with you I will be in big trouble." It continued sounding very apologetic.

My eyes adjusted a bit and I could just see the figure of the person under my bed, they were wearing some sort of cloak thing with a hood covering their face. I noticed something floating next to the stranger. This I recognised.

"Yoru?" I whispered.

"Hi there (Y/N)-Chan." Yoru said extremely quietly.

"Who are you?" I asked the stranger.

"I can't tell you, but please listen to me." He said.

Random person who won't tell me who he is under my bed, I'm sure I can trust him!

"Okay." I said.

I heard him breathe in deeply, "Ikuto is being hunted down by Easter, that is why he cannot see you right now. He is afraid that if he is seen with you by Easter, they will take you as well."

I processed what he had just said for a moment.

"Are you Ikuto?" I said hopefully, I wasn't sure because he was speaking so quietly I couldn't recognise his voice.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not. I don't usually help Ikuto, but Yoru told me to inform you of the situation and I felt like it was important." He said.

I wasn't quiet sure what was going on still.

He crawled out from under my bed, still hiding his face. He helped me out from under the bed. The moonlight shining through the window lit up the room and I saw a bit of blonde hair sticking out of his hood.

Yoru and the stranger opened the window, waved goodbye and disappeared.
