You had just went through a long day, having to walk across campus several times in the pouring rain, forgetting your notebook for on of your lecture heavy classes, and dealing with the annoying chatter of the girl in front of you who had to go into detail about what her and her boyfriend were up to the previous night.

This being said, your thoughts weren't occupied on where you were going, rather they were turned inward. Your eyes cast to the ground, you didn't see the tall figure walking your way, who slammed into you full force.

Your body stumbled backwards as your face smushed into the lanky figure. A few profanities escaped your lips, as your books feel from your grasp. You felt two hands slide down your arms, but to no avail in catching you, as you plopped backwards onto the wet pavement.

"O-oh my god! I'm so sorry! Here l-let m-" a deep voice exclaimed, before you began speaking yourself.

"N-no! I um, I've got-" your sentence stopped short as you caught sight of the stranger. A very attractive young man, dark hair damp but still standing tall. His cheeks were tinted from being flustered, but he held a pale complexion that accented the light dashing of freckles. His blue eyes bored into yours, as you realized you had been staring for way too long.

"I've got it." You finally said, pulling yourself out of the trance the attractive stranger had put you in. Wow Shay, way to embrace yourself. Your brain taunted, as you slid onto your knees to collect your fallen objects.

You saw his hands start grabbing things as well, and those slender fingers faintly met yours as you reached for the same book, causing an embassed 'sorry' to escape both your lips.

When you were finally on your own two feet, items back in your grasp, the stranger spoke up.

"I,ehm, I'm really sorry-should've watched where I was going," he rubbed the back of his neck nervously,"I'm Dan"

"It's no big deal, y'know I fall a lot any ways." You tried to joke, causing him to chuckle.

"I'm sure it's not a common occurrence for you to be trampled on by some clumsy stranger," he countered in a humorous tone.

You laughed lightly, "You'd be surprised, actually."

He laughed aloud at that, giving you a view of a rather jagged tooth that looked nothing but adorable in contrast to his this lips.

"I, ehm, never caught your name?"

"Oh! It's Shay! S-sorry." You stuttered, holding your hand out for him to take.

He didn't realize what you were going for, until you were about to retract when he gently brought his hand in contact with yours.

"Nice to meet you, love," He said,"Sorry it had be the way it was though, apologies again for knocking you over!"

"It's alright, it was great to meet you as well, Dan."

He smiled, releasing your hand. "I've got to get to the other side of campus, but hopefully I can see you around?" His tone was hopeful.

"Yeah! I'll be looking up next time so we don't have the same issue," you joked giving him a wave,"I'll see you around."

He smiled and turned, walking the opposite way. You went a few feet before you heard your name being called.

Dan had reversed his steps, making his way to you, "I know this is stupid, but um, could I maybe have your number?" His cheeks were flushed, lip finding its place under his jagged tooth.

"Yeah! Um, hold on, lemme grab a pen and paper-"

It wasn't long before you had given him your sloppily sprawled number before he had to practically sprint away.

You had never thought that the encounter of running into each other (quite literally) would result in a wedding reception. Yet here you were, standing outside the doors of the chapel in a beautiful white dress.

You were marrying that attractive man, the one who had awkwardly asked for your number so long ago. It was happening. No turning back now.

The realization about what was about to happen hot you, causing a wave of nausea to rush through you.

C'mon you've got this. Your about to marry the man of your dreams. Keep it together.

The traditional wedding time sounded behind the doors, queuing the flower girls [the small twin daughters of Kyle and Janna] to begin their walking, dropping little petals as they went.

Nervousness set in, what if I'm not a good enough wife for him? What if I fall? Or faint? Fainting wouldn't be nice. Oh god, what if I get sick and puke all of the guests?

Your thoughts were unable to continue, as your father stuck out his arm for you to take as you began your descent into the chapel.

You entered through the double doors, opening into the beautifully decorated setting, full of friends and family. Though your vision was set on one thing, your husband-to-be who stood at the end of the path.

He looked handsome, his normal band tee and skinny jeans replaced with a form fitting black on black suit. His hair was pulled into its normal quiff, sides freshly shaven. Slight stubble do adorned his jaw, making him look sharp. Though his blue eyes were glossy, a large smile plastered on his face.

She looks so beautiful, I can't believe she chose a clumsy, unworthy man like me. This goddess, this beautiful creature, chose me to spend her life with. How?

He couldn't tear his eyes off you, even as his best men gave him pats on the shoulder as you continued walking.

When you reached him, your father gave him a manly hug, before kissing you on the forehead and stepping away. Dan smiled, taking your hands in his, rubbing his thumbs in a soothing manner is he felt the slight shaking of your body.

-
"I do."

Those two words left your lips in a whimsical tone, before the minister pronounced you man and wife.

Dan pulled you into a passionate kiss, which you gladly returned. When he pulled away, his forehead remained pressed against your's as he whispered

"I'm beyond overjoyed, Mrs.Smith."
