Clary's P.O.V.

"You feeling better?" Louis asked when we left Damian's room.

"Yeah, much better." I reached up to wiped a stray tear on my face but Louis beat me to it, catching it with his thumb then cupped my face. He looked into my eyes when suddenly they brightened.

"Do you need a place to stay?"

~~~~~~~~~~
"Are you sure this is ok? I don't want to be a burden."
"Absolutely! I wouldn't want it any other way!" Lou smiled.
Lou had somehow convinced me to move into his apartment while Damien was in the hospital. It took a lot of arguing, a lot of pleading and a lot of puppy dog faces (from Lou's half of the conversation). Thankfully, since me and Damien, mainly Damien, had packed light, we were checked out of the hotel and out of there in about 20 minutes.
He lived in a flat just 5 minutes away from the hospital, better than the half an hour away from it to the hotel, so I could see Damien more. It was modern, with high ceilings, neutral toned walls and dark wood floors. The kitchen was nice with new appliances and marble counter tops, and the living room had couches that felt like clouds.
The room I was sleeping in was nothing I expected. I thought it would be a room with a double bed, a small dresser, white walls, and hopefully a little half bath attached. Boy was I WRONG.
The walls were a soft caramel colour, with a short white carpet on the floor. There was big French doors that led to a beautiful balcony over looking the city. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and stand up shower, the sink was green tinted glass. There was nice mocha dresser to the one wall while the huge bed was against the other. It was a king, not a twin or a queen, but a king sized bed.
"Lou I can't stay here... It's to much."
Lou came to where I was standing in the middle of the room and took my hands, holding them up to his chest.
"Yes you can, I want you to be comfortable. And if you really want, when Damien gets out of the hospital and if your parents haven't gotten here by then, you can sleep on the couch. Alright?" He said with an irresistible puppy dog face. Dammit.
"Fine." I said with a grin on my face.
"Perfect!" He yelled and grabbed me in a bear hug.
