Chapter 15 - Out Of the Frying Pan...

Damien's P.O.V.

The morning rays of sunlight landed perfectly on my eyes causing me to groan. It had been a week and I could talk now and I didn't need naps as regularly.

I sat up yawning knowing the sunlight wouldn't leave me alone. I looked around and like usual the doctor came in and asked how I was. Today was my last day in this jail. I needed to smell some flowers. I needed to walk in a park. I needed real food.

I was told that Clary was living with that fellow "Lou" as she called him. It probably was easy moving our stuff from the hotel. Plus it was far away, as Clary said, but Lou's house was not far at all.

She really liked him. I've never seen her that happy since that Drake guy in our school. He ended up cheating on her and, thanks to me, losing some teeth. I did get detention but it was worth it. Plus I wasn't in for long being my A average.

This guy better treat my sissy right or he'll get a good what for.

While I was thinking of all the ways I could hurt him Clary came in with the boys. "Hey Damien!" She said happily.

"Hey Clary." I said forgetting about all the evil thoughts in my head.

"I can't wait for 3 hours to be up. I gotta get outta this place. I'm going crazy. " I laughed shaking my head. "Well take your meds then!" She joked along with me.

I wasn't kidding though. I was going mad. I needed to get out or I may end up in a different kind of hospital.

Harry's P.O.V.

It was fun seeing Clary and Damien joke around. It was good to see Damien joking. When he first started talking normally all he could talk about was mopey stuff. Now he was cracking jokes like me.

I don't know why but every time I saw him it made my day better. He was like a sun after years of clouds. That sounded horrible. Why would I even think that?

3 and a half hours later we were all out of the hospital and in the parking lot heading to the car. "Hey Damien. What's one thing you want right now?" Niall asked. Damien smiled and said "Real food." Everybody laughed at that.
