Chapter 18 - Home(?)

Clary's P.O.V.

Damien fell asleep on Harry's shoulder right after we got in the car, it was so cute! It took us forever to wake him up but thankfully I smacked him enough times in the face for him to do so.

It didn't take long for me to explain to Damien about the sleeping arrangements and stuff. I told him I was sleeping on the couch, but of course he insisted I sleep in the guest bedroom.

"If you don't I will carry you there and lock you in." He said sternly but jokingly.

"Ugh fine, but if you feel uncomfortable or something you let me know and we'll switch." I said poking a finger to his chest.

"Fine." He smiled at me. "You should get some rest, I'm about crash anyways."

"Ok, night." I hugged him and looked over at Lou smiling. "Night Lou."

"Night Clary." He said, stepping aside so I could get to me room.

Once my head hit the pillow I realized how tired I was and I instantly fell asleep.

Damien's P.O.V.

I waited till I could hear Clarys' cute snores before I went over to Louis and pushed him up against a wall.

"You better be nice to Clary, otherwise your dead." I said.

"I would never hurt Clary, and why are you so protective?"

"Because I'm basically her brother and she's never been the same since... Forget." I stomped off towards the couch.

"Since?" Louis pressed before I could sit down and block him out.

"Since what happened last time."

"What happened?" He looked really concerned, he better not be faking it.

I sat down. "She used to be in this relationship with this guy, Drake. She was head-over-heels for this guy but that was cuz she didn't know what he was doing. He treated her like dirt all the time but she didn't see it that way, thought he was just going through some things and it was making him weird. He was going through things alright. He cheated on her everyday, during school he'd text a girl to meet him at a janitors closet so the could, as you would say snog. She didn't believe it until he accidentally texted her saying 'hey Julie, I had fun last night, wanna do round two in the janitors closet in 5 min?' The ass. After she read that she bolted to the bathroom and cried her eyes out for the rest of the day. He ended up finding out he texted her and broke it off an hour later saying 'its not working out sorry, its over' I almost beat the shit out of him right then and there but I had to wait till school was down. I followed him to this back alley he walks through to get home and... lets just say he doesn't have that amazing smile anymore." I looked over at Louis and was taken aback, he looked furious. Maybe he does care.

"I'm gonna kill him." Is all he said before bolting out the door.
