Your phone buzzes as you pull into your parking spot at school, and smile when Ethan's name pops up o the screen.
E💞😍- Hey babe! How has your morning been so far? Meet me by the stairs towards the back of the school, I have something to show you.
You quickly reply, telling him you'll be there in a moment. You're a senior, so your teachers are a lot more lenient about what time you get to class. You hear the bell ring, but proceed to the stairs.
You sneak up behind Ethan while he's on his phone, and jump on his back. He yells, but doesn't sound like a little girl (his voice is too low and hotttt).
"Y/n!" He shouts, holding his chest and laughing as he recovers.
"Yes?" You ask sweetly, and he just shakes his head and pats the stair next to him as he sits down. You sit down next him, and he wraps an arm around your waist, looking deep into your eyes as you look ahead. When you turn your head, he cups your cheek with his hand and begins to softly kiss your lips.You had kissed before, so this wasn't out of the ordinary. But when he pulled back, you began to overthink it.
"Is everything okay, E?" You ask, and he looks down and shakes his head.
"No," he says, getting on one knee and reaching into his pocket. You think nothing of it until he pulls a little black box out of his pocket, opening it and revealing a beautiful diamond ring.
"Babe..." Your voice trails off, tears beginning to form in your eyes.
"Y/n," he says, choking on his words as tear fill his eyes too, "I love you so much, and you know this because I tell you everyday. But you'll never understand the depth of those words to me. It makes me so upset that you'll never understand how much I miss you when you're gone, or I'm gone. Or how much I need you in my life. Please, just take this from me to symbolize how honest I am being when I say that I will love you until we are both gone. I will love with all that I have. Please, y/n, say you'll marry me," he says, looking into your eyes as small sobs escape your lips.
"Yes, of course baby," you say, as he pushes the ring onto your finger. You jump down to where he is on the ground, and you both smile as your lips collide.
"I love you, y/n," he says smiling against your lips.
"I love you too, Ethan," and you continue to kiss.
