Chapter 18

A/N: I'm going to write in first person now. Plus I am so sorry I haven't updated yet! My parents have been going through a divorce so it's been hard and I've been trying my best to update so there might be mistakes, I know, so I apologize in advance!

Clara

I arrived at Camp Half-Blood. I scared a few people when I arrived in front of the Big House. I slid off Arion's back and dismounted. "I'll call you when I need you again."

Okay. He sighed. Can horses sigh? And with that he ran away leaving me in the dust. I coughed. I walked to the door and knocked.

"Come in." I heard someone say. I walked into the Big House. I saw Chiron standing in centaur form. "What do you need?" He faced me. "I haven't seen you here before."

"That's because I don't go to this camp." I said.

"Oh, your from Camp Jupiter." Chiron said. "What do you need."

"Chiron, I'm not from Camp Jupiter either. I from-" I closed the door. "Camp Key."

"Oh," Chiron payed full attention. "Has your war been spreading?"

"Yes." I said. "I can here to warn you. My twin is over at Camp Jupiter preparing for a battle."

"This is bad." Chiron moved closer to me. He examined my wrist. "Does Percy know?"

"Yes. We had to expose ourselves to prevent Nico being taken prisoner."

"I expect you know what to do. Come, we must call a counselor meeting."

*At the beginning of the counselor meeting*
I stood next to Chiron at the ping pong table with the cabin counselors as well.

"What are we here for?" Clovis asked. "I just want to sleep."

"What's this about?" Will asked. "Who's she?" He pointed at me. I hid my arm with the tattoo behind my back.

"She has a name you know." I said. "It's Clara."

"Well, Clara, are you a demigod?" Clarisse asked.

"Yes." I said.

"Well, who's your godly parent?"

I looked at Chiron. He shook his head. "That's none of your concern."

"I hate her already." Clarisse said. I rolled my eyes. Are all children of Ares and Mars this way (Except Frank)?

"There's a new threat heading towards Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. Camp Jupiter is being taken care of. We need to focus on our camp here." Chiron said.

"What threat?" Katie Gardner asked. (A/N: I have no idea if I misspelled names.)

"The Darkness." I said.

"The what?" Travis Stoll asked.

"The Darkness." I said again. "They can only be truly defeated by fire, ice, and something else, I cannot say."

"Then how are we supposed to stop them form tearing apart our camp?" Clarisse asked clearly annoyed.

"They hate Greek Fire, and they have weak spots." I said. "Shadows are minions of the Master of the Darkness. They're escaped souls from the fields of punishment in the form of a man. If they have there hands on you for 30ish seconds, you will become a Shadow too."

"What are their weak spots?" Clarisse asked now interested.

"It's different for each one." Chiron said before I could answer.
