Riley POV
I wake up in the morning with a smile on my face of what happened last night what was I doing why did this boy make me feel so alive but angry at the same time was I playing with fire or could this work I push those thoughts to the back of my mind and continue to get dressed I decided I needed to clear my head so I put on my running clothes and go for a run I love running I feel free the wind against my face
"Mm" I hear someone clear there throat and it is none other then drew
I start to run faster but being the caption of the football team he soon catches up
"Will you just listen "he breaths
"WHAT" I yell
"I know I've done some bad things in the past but I want to make it up to you" I just want to punch him
"Listen alright you broke my bestfriends heart them continue to play games with her and now your trying me bad move drew ok for one your not my type and for two I would never go there" I feel so red in the face from anger I just run off
I enter my house and head straight for the shower I stay in there a little longer then usual I hop out and put on my black dress with some heels and head for my car I was nervous about school I know I was going to get into a lot of trouble I pull in my spot hop out of my car when I hear the biggest scream ever
"Riley where the fuck have you been I was so worried " Amber is now hugging me to the point were I can't breath
"Sorry I'll explain later ok mr.patterson is coming my way "
"Riley my office now " he says
I walk to his office kinda scared of the punishment I was about to receive
"Why did u leave yesterday without permission he says looking straight at me
I was shocked he wasn't mentioning the trophy shelf
"I umm felt sick I just had to leave "I breath out
"Ok well next time tell someone ok "
"Ok" and with that I left
School finishes early today because of camp next week I was so excited to be spending a week with my bestfriend in a cabin I was a planing on spending the whole weekend alone in my room with all the seasons off pretty little liars
On my way home I pick up some snacks for my lazy weekend and head home
As I open the door I find a note from mum and dad
We will be gone for the weekend to New York for work there's some money on the fridge have fun love mum and dad
This was even better now I'm completely alone I run up stairs to my room chuck one some track pants and jump on my bed with season one of pretty little liars everything was perfect until the door bell rings annoyed I run down stairs and open the door
"Why hello young lady I was wondering if your parents were home "
"What are you doing here josh " I asks
"Well it's Friday night I'm board and I missed you "he says with a smirk
"Funny but why are you really here " I asks
"Ok I wanna take you for some food " he asks kinda nervous
"No thanks I have season one of pretty little liars to watch and MNMS to eat so" I says
"Ok well I love pretty little liars so let's go" he makes his way up to my room annoyed I close the door and head up stairs press play and begin to watch the show
"Let's play 21 questions he blurts out
"I'm busy " I say
"Oh come on I want to get to know you"he says
"Fine" I give in and play his stupid game
"Ok question 1 are you a virgin "
"Straight to it huh and no I'm not my turn have you ever been inlove "
"Wow deep and yea of course I'm not a complete asshole ok question 2 who's Ryan "
That name cut me right to the bone
"Umm he's umm my ex boyfriend my turn have you had a smoke before "
"Yes I have why did you break up with Ryan "
Why does he keep doing this I can feel a tear coming on
"Why do you wanna know so much about Ryan ok I didn't break up with him he died in a car accident three years ago ok now can we drop it " I run to the bathroom trying to control my breathing I haven't spoke about Ryan in a long time and now all I wanna do is cry I miss him I miss his hugs the way he made me feel safe
"Umm Riley " josh peeks through the door
"What josh " I say
"I didn't know ok all I heard was you used to date and that it ended badly I just thought they meant he cheated I'm so sorry " I can hear the sadness in his voice
"It's alright you didn't know can we just forget about it and watch the show"i asks
I watch about one more episode before I fall asleep trying to forget what just happened
