So I spent the whole day in bed yesterday texting josh
Things were feeling right I haven't felt this way in a long time
But the one person I miss is Amber
I was just about to call her when my door swings open
"Bitch where have you been I haven't seen you for like two days do you know how long that is " I laugh "do you think this is funny that's it I'm making today bestfriend day get yo fat ass up we're going shopping " she pulls me up out off bed
"Ugh fine " I go to my wardrobe and put on some leggings and a jumper
We hop in the car
Best friend best friends till the very end
Cause best friend don't have to pretend
You need a hand and I'm right there right beside

"Dam I miss this" Amber turns down the radio
"It's only been two days " I laugh
"No I mean us just being us now that were both in relationships it's hard to find time for your bestfriend " she looks down
"Yer I know like I miss just walking to the park with you were we'd sit and talk for hours about are future and our dreams now it all study for this love that and it's freaking me out " I say sadly
"Ok let's make a pact that no matter what boys school anything we'll always be bestfriends and let nothing come between us " she holds out her pinky finger
"I promise " I take my pinky and wrap it around hers
We get to the mall
"We better start shopping for school clothes now that school is back in in two weeks " she says as we make our way to forever 21
"Yer I know four weeks just fly " I say
"Well four weeks for you since you ditched camp " she whines
"Hey I didn't ditch I had a reason " I say
"Yer your boyfriend " she smiles
"He wasn't at the time ok " I laugh
I pick up a white top that says fries before guys
"I think I found your shirt " I hold it up and show Amber she laughs
"I love it " she takes it
We pay for our stuff and make our way to target
"I need hairspray don't let me forget " she says
"Yer me to " I say
We ended up spending $200 dollars on clothes
"We need to calm down with this shit "I say looking at the remaining money I have left in my purse
"You mostly brought shoes " she laughs
" I can't believe graduating in four then we're off to collage that's crazy "she says
I totally forgot about that
"I haven't checked the mail in like a week I hope I got a letter from UCLA cause I only sent an application to that school " I say worried
"Don't worry you'll get it I k ow you will you've been studying your wear off to get in " she says
"Have you got your letter yet " I asks
"Yer I've been to scared to open it I wanted us to do it together " she says
I pull into my drive way and bolt out
"Mum are you home " I yell out
No answer
"Of course not " I say to myself
I run up stairs to my desk

The letter
Amber pulls hers out aswell
"Ready " I asks
"Ready "
We open it
Dear Riley rivers
We are happy to inform you you have been excepted into our school we look forward to seeing you in the fall
I scream with excitement
I look at Amber
She's frozen
"What's wrong " I asks
She doesn't say anything
"Amber your scarring me "I say
"I-I-I- "
"YOU WHAT " I yell
"I GOT IN " she screams
We hug and jump
"Yes we both got in now we can move in together go to school together live the life we want it's all coming together this is all we've ever wanted " I'm crying
"Why are you crying" Amber asks
"Because this is what we wanted and we got it " I hug her once more
" I wonder were the boys are going " she asks
"Well I know josh got into UCLA as well he told me yesterday " I say
"What if jarred goes to another school does that mean we're gonna break up "she looks worried
"No of course not and you never know he could be studying at UCLA aswell " she stands up start and smiles
"Your right " she laughs
"I think this calls for Chinese and Ice cream " I run to the phone and order our usual
"What movie " she asks
"The notebook " I say
We spend the whole night watching movie eating and laughing
This is all I want is to be laughing with my best friend
I'll tell josh I got in tomorrow
Right now it's me and her time
