Chapter 5

"We will NOT have this type of behavior here. You two will not be suspended, put you at home with TVs and Computers, not to mention you'll miss class, no, you two will clean the Cafeteria you destroyed, along with the rest of the school and you will do that for the next two months do you understand me. You will clean, and if you do a good enough job this little incident won't go on your records. Got it?" His raised eyebrow as if saying 'What other choice do you have?', and nodded his head.

We both nodded our heads and sat there, waiting for him to dismiss us. Where I was shiting bricks, Jared look like this amused him with a dash of challenge. Damn this bad boy is going to get me in deeper.

"You also only have 3hours to do so every day," at that my eyes grew wide as Jared took a deep breath.

"Um, Sir, the Campus is huge, there is no way we can clean it every day in 3hours," I stated shaking my head.

He folded his hands and placed them on his desk leaning forward," Maybe you should have thought of that before you decided to throw food in the cafeteria."

I leaned back in the chair defeated. This man wants to kill us. Not to mention I'll be in the same room with Sir-Jerk-Off for 3 more hours for two whole months! I don't know how I'll survive. I heaved a heavy sigh looking all around his huge office. The wall to floor windows are draped with curtains, his desk is big enough to look intimidating but professional at the same time.

"Well Miss Tate your Mother has been notified and your brother is on his way, and as for you Mr. Washington, you may be emaciated, but you are still a child and this is not the right way to start off in a new place," He said giving Jared a hard look. Wow, so this dick is riding solo. I almost feel sorry for him.

"Now go before I do suspend you two. And don't ever be late or else you'll get an extra week for every minute."

About a minute after walking out of Mr. Jones' office Leo walked into the lobby. His eyes landed on me and he motioned me over urgently.

"You are sooo lucky I picked up the phone and not mom," he told me with warning laced in every word. I gave him a confused look, "But he told me my mother was informed not my brother."

He shrugged, "I guess I have a pretty good Mom impression."

I actually laughed. In a time like this I laughed. God, I miss my brother!

"Well I guess I owe you, thanks. Love ya Bro," I winked and rushed up to hug him like I used to when I was little. He gave me a squeeze and let me go. When I looked back up at him he looked hilarious. There was a glop of potatoes on his cheek, ketch-up under his chin, and a chicken finger stuck to his shirt.

"Nice going little sis, you look like hell and now so do I," he chuckled.

I slapped his arm and said, "Did you bring me a change of clothes?"

He shook his head, "Gotcha covered," and pulled a bag up into my view. I took it and kissed him on the cheek. I had texted him to bring me some clothes when I was walking to the office behind Mr. Jones; tricky, but not impossible.

"See you at dinner." His response was a solute.

I was walking through the empty hall humming the Pink Panther theme song when someone walked up behind me. "You are so childish. If only you knew how to take a joke we wouldn't be in this," said the Dick I was in this mess with.
