Chapter 7
"Hello Naomi," said Snake Eyes.
I nodded to him, not being able to use my voice. I don't know whats wrong with me but I have a feeling it has to do with Snake Boy here.
"Who are you?" I think out loud, if that even makes sence.
"Well you named me after the Oroboros, wich is actually one of my pets, but you can call me Oron," he said to me in what Leo called 'Our Silent Native Languge'.
"Oron, what do you want from me," I asked(this whole conversation is in the languae or whatever).
"What an acusation to make my Queen. For what I want is for you to fight along side us, but I see you are in the possion of someone eles. What I would like to know is, why was one of my favorite pets killed last night, when all I wanted was a minute alone with you?"
I feel like I've just been picked off the street and told to do open heart sergury on my mother. Scared, confused, and completely clueless.
"Your piece of shit of a pet was killed because no matter what you think you were getting from her he was going to kill her to get," said Jason walking in the room and closing the door with his back to it watching Snake boy the whole time.
"Well well well, look who it is. Hoofs for brains," Snake Boy said with a sneer as Jason stepped in front of me.
This seemed to piss Jason off beyond anything I've ever seen because he huffed steam from his nose and his eyes glowed. Snake Boy's eyes glowed in return.
When Jason calmed down and his eyes stopped glowing he said, "Look I don't want any trouble, rite now, so don't push it!"
Snake Boy's eyes returned to mine behind Jason and he said to my mind(because when Jason walked in they were talking with their voices(by the way, Snake Boy's voice was a cross between a hiss and a growl)), "We will talk alone my Queen," then he flahed away. Jason looked back at me.
"You okay?" His voice was laced with concern.
I shook my head and said, "Yea, fine, just a whole lotta confused."
"I'm sorry. Sometimes I just lose my cool over small things he says. He's an Ass and he enjoys teasing and misguiding people. He is a snake after all," he then took my hand and praticly dragged me downstairs.
The whole time I noticed that same shadow flowing me that followed me up here. I guess Peacock girl will explain it to me, not worth getting a headache over considering whatever it is didn't try to hurt me.
We got downstairs and I sat in my Dad's old recliner. I bet he's not even my real dad. I bet my mom's not really my mom. NO! I don't care if that's true, my mom will always be my mom and not even blood can change that.
"Your not my real Mom are you? Wich means your not my real brother and your not my real cousin," I said my voice cracking several times.
Now I'm staring into space, thinking about everything in my life that's most likely all a lie. All the family vacations, and picnics, and barbques, and, days out in the French Quarters, and Parades. All those good times, all a lie.
"NAE!" Leo pushed into my mind.
I blinked and realised how hot the burning in my eyes was. I let out a pained groan and squeezed my eyes close.
"You have to control your emotions, they're what destroyed you the first time. We can't let that happen again," Jason said.
"I change my mind let me take a walk...I'll be rite back," I said getting up.
