Chapter 20

Me and Harry sat down in our seats. I let go of his hand and take a sip of my drink. I could tell Harry was looking at me. The lights dimmed out and the show has started. Jennifer Lopez, the host, came out and we started clapping. There was so much noise happening, it was insane. I've been nervous for this day because I'm nominated for 3 awards tonight. The awards Video of the Year, Artist to Watch, and Best Song of the Summer.

I'm up against amazing artists, but I have faith in my fans that I will end up going home with all 3 awards by the end of the night. The boys are also up Best Pop Video, Best Duo/Group, Album of the Year, Best Touring Group, and Artist of the Year. They are against amazing artists as well, but I have faith in their fans and them that they will win. I really want those awards. For me, it feels like a sign of achievement. That I'm making it somewhere and I'm doing a fine ass job. Unless I go home empt handed, then that's the end of my life. I have won a couple of awards. A third of the people that know me, is through me dating Harry.

He said that people would throw hate at me. I knew I would have to deal with the hate. But I ignored it all. Most people were surprised that I responded to the haters with sarcastic words. I feel his hands intertwine with mine as Jennifer continues her speech. I look over at him but he's staring ahead. His thumb caressing my hand gently. Looking ahead, he pull my hand towards his face and gives a light, passionate kiss on my hand. A smile is threatening to show and I look down as I smile. Harry move my hair that covered my face and tugs it behind my ear. I look at him again and see he's getting closer. Suddenly, I feel a pair of soft, warm lips on my cheek. Multiple kisses on my cheek. Probably by now, I've turn red as a cheery. I hear him chuckle at my action and goes back to watching the show.

"Here to kick us off with the first performance, here's 5 Seconds of Summer!" Jennifer announces to the audience. The lights dim for about 30 seconds and then the spotlight was on them. People started to clap. I clapped too. Sort of. Since Harry's hand was interlocked with mine, I had to clap with my wrist. I tried to pull away and clap normally but he wouldn't let go. He would just hold my hand tighter.

The lyrics to She's Kinda Hot starts playing.

I let go of Harry's hand and stand up. I was surprised he even let me take my hand away from him since he wouldn't. I sing along to the music and lyrics as I sway a little.

The beat drops and I start dancing to the chorus along with everyone else in the arena.

Ashton's verse comes and I sing along with the words. I personally love this part of the song. Harry wraps is arm around my neck and pulls me towards him. I smile at the simple gesture and wrap my arm around his waist.

I clapped and sort of screamed for them. After that, I sat down in my seat as I saw Ariana Grande walk up to the microphone. She patiently waited until everyone settled down in their seats. Once everyone was quiet, she began talking.

"How amazing was that performance by five seconds of summer? I enjoyed them performing their latest single She's Kinda Hot. Anyways, this is the first award of the night. The first category is Best R&B album"

Everyone looked at the big screen, showing us the nominees for this category.

"Best R&B album. The Weeknd Beauty Behind the Madness, Chris Brown X, Justin Timberlake The 20/20 Experience, and Beyoncé Beyoncé"

We all paid attention to Ariana again and waited for the winner. "And the moon man goes to..." She opens the envelope that has the winners name. "Justin Timberlake!" She claps along with everyone else. Justin gets up from his seat as his wife congratulates him. He walks towards the stages and grabs his award.

"Wow. This is amazing. I would like to thank my management for helping me create this amazing album. I also want to thank my fans for supporting me and loving the album. I want to do a shoutout to my beautiful wife for not leaving me even though this career isn't the easiest. Thank you" He walks towards backstage as everyone claps once again.

The screens tells us who's performing next and how many minutes until they do then they go to commercial. I look to Harry and he's talking to Niall. I lightly tap his shoulder to get his attention. He looks back.

"Can you get me a strawberry bulldog margarita?" I loom at him and he raises his eyebrow.

"Why would I do that?" He teases and I smile at him.

"Because you love me and you the most amazing guy in the world" I smile and bat my eyelashes. I hear him sigh in defeat and stands up. I stand up as well and kiss his cheek.

"Thank you! Your the best!" I yell at him as he walks away. I see him trying to hide his smile. I sit down again. I turn to Niall and start talking to him until Harry comes back.

I had a writers block and also I finished finals and just started my new schedule. It been what 3 or 4 months since I updated. I am currently working on a new chapter for Arabella. So stay tuned for the update. I have no idea when it would be finished but just be alert about it.
