Sakura's Point of view
"My family and I will be traveling to America in these up coming days. So I am sorry, but I won't be able to accompany you to school for the next few weeks." "Oh...ok... just leave your BEST FRIEND behind..." Yoshino reply's with a sad face. "Lucky you. Oh and when you come back, could you try to bring some American candy? I have always wondered how it tastes." Makoto says with a smile. Makoto... if only you knew how much I love you... "I will surly try to remember to bring back some candy." "Oh hey guys!" "Hello Ayu, Kaede." "Yo." Kaede reply's smiling. "What are you guys talking about?" "Well Sakura here, is planning on leaving us for a while to go to America." "Oh wow! That's amazing! I wish I could go with you!" Kaede reply's in awe. "I would take you all if I could, but I am going with my family so it looks like that won't be happening." Kaede's face turned from cheerful to slightly sad. I felt bad for her, but there was nothing I could do. "Hey I got an idea! How about we all take a picture together, that way Sakura can take us with her?" "Hey that's a good idea!" "Yeah, I would like that." We all huddle up in a group to take a picture. "Well, I better get going. I need to pack." "Wait but aren't you leaving in a couple days? Why pack so soon?" "It's better to be ready instead of having to rush." "True" "Well see you guys at school tomorrow." Yeah see ya." "Goodnight!" I say as I run to my house. As I finish packing, I can't stop thinking of all the fun I am gonna have! But... I have to remember it's only a business trip... but that means I can see Makoto again soon. Makoto... I start to think of all the good times we've had over the past few years. I feel a few tears roll down my face. I decide to go to sleep, and as I slowly drift away... I see a vision...
"Sakura, wake up! If you don't get up soon, we are gonna leave you behind when we leave and we are not gonna think twice about it, and I know how exicted you've been about going to America." "Huh? Oh good moring mom. Sorry I was up all night doing those papers for school. I will be ready in a few minutes, so if you don't mind, could you please get out?" "Sure thing dear." Man, I over slept. That means I don't have that much time to say bye to Makoto and all of them... Well better start moving, sitting here isnt gonna get me anywhere.
As I go to get up, I notice something didn't feel right. I felt like I was being watched. I turn around and see a person staring right at me. As anyone would do, I jump. After a few seconds I realize it was just Yoshino.
*Bang bang bang* "Hey Sakura,open up this window, I want to say bye to you before you leave!" "Huh?! What are you doing here?" "Well you didn't meet us at the cafe like you said you would, so we came by to see if you were asleep." "Oh so tha- wait what do you mean "We"? Is there someone else out there?" "Yeah, everyone is here. You, me, Kaede, Ayu, and Makoto." He waves. He looks at me with a shocked face, then covers his nose. I look down. I am only in my pajama's top and my panties. Kaede looks at me, then looks at makoto, then back at me. I jump and cover my lower section. I am pretty sure I was blushing. "Hey no fair! How come she is the only one who gets to show you her panties?!" She starts to pull up her skrit. Suddenly blood flies out of Makoto's nose at what looked like unhealthy speeds. "Makoto, you man whore!" Yoshino yells while slapping Makoto's face.
We all begin to laugh. After i put clothes on, I invite them in and make tea. "So, tell me the first thing you are going to do when you get there!" Yoshino says out of no where. "Oh... umm... I haven't really thought about it, now that you mention it." "Who goes on a vacation, and doesn't know what she is gonna do first?!" "Umm... this type of person?" I reply while sipping me tea. Ayu chuckles.
"So, Sakura, are you gonna miss Makoto while you are gone?" I'm blush while trying to figure out what to say. "Of course! And all of you as well!" That was a close one... "Sakura, lets go!" "I will be ready in just a second!" "So re we say goodbye huh?" Yoshino says looking sad. "No." "Huh what do you mean?" "This is where be say "See you later" silly. Goodbye mean we will never meet again." "Oh" Everyone replies. "Well I really have to hurry, so I will see you all later!" "Bye!" everyone replies climbing out the window they came from. I watch them vanish in to the distance. Once we arive at the terminal, I bump into nearly everyone because I am lost in my own fantasy of what everything will be like. How will the food taste? Is it gonna be filled with fun? Or is it gonna be filled with buisness and nothing more? Are the people gonna be nice? Wait.... how will I talk to everyone? I dont speak english that well! once I come back to my senses I realise I had already boarded the plane. "Huh? When did I get on the plane?" It felt like my parents ignored me, so I didn't ask again. "If you will please take your seats, we will be departing in just a few moments.
20 minutes later
"Sakura, its gonna be a long trip, and I know you are tired from haing to stay up all night, so why don't you get some sleep?" I hadn't thought of that. "Oh that's a good idea." I reply closing my eyes. 40 minutes later, I wake up to the sound of panic. I open my eyes and I see fire coming from one of the wings. "Everyone please take a seat and stay calm." the poilt said even though he knew what was gonna happen. One of the turbines had caught on fire somehow. All I could think was "I am going to die!" Tears start bursting out of my eyes. No words, just tears. I close my eyes and think of all the memorys I have had over these past few years. Even though I haven't known Yoshino,Kaede,Ayu or Makoto very long, they were my family. I would be nowhere without them. I crack a small smile, and tears stop rolling down my face. Makoto... Then, the plane makes impact with the ground, and everyone aboard the plane turns lifeless. I don't know why or how I am just barely alive. I look around. No sign of life anywhere near the plane. Just the singing of the birds and the crackles from the fire. Nothing else. Soon after, I hear the sirens ofambulences, fire trucks and police cars. Laying there, barely able to feel my arms, I reach in my pocket and pull out my phone. I pull up the picture we all took together. I ,once again, start to cry. Though, this not these tears are not of sorrow, but of joy. I start to feel tired once again. I decide to try to keep my eyes from closing. Thank you guys. All of you guys... Makoto, Yoshino, Kaede, and Ayu. "Thank you... goodbye." I can't keep them open any longer. I slowly close them knowing that these are my final moments. I smile once more. Moments after that, I slowly start let go... of everything. One last tear falls out of my eyes.... and then my life turns to nothing. My body is now an empty corpse.
*Beep beep beep*
I slowly arise from my bed. My eyes feel dry. "Makoto..." I realise I have to tell him soon, just incase something does happen to me, so he knows I have always loved him. After only 3 days in America instead of a few weeks, my father's boss had something come up in his family so we had to plan this trip for another time but he said we could stay a few days in America if we liked, I returned home. Safe and sound I thought when I walked in our house. Also, I bought some "Kit-kats" and "Twix" (Who comes up witht these weird names?) for Makoto. I wonder if he will like them? Who knows?
*Later*
"Makoto!" "Oh your back already?" Makoto asks in suprise. "Yeah, due to some complications, we came back.... really early." "Ohhh" "Yeah. Oh and I brought you the candy like you asked." "Oh, thanks!" Makoto says while patting my head. I try to hide that I really enjoy it on the inside, but he must see right through me with the look hes giving me. "Makoto... wil-" "MAKOTO GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!" Yoshino yells from what seems like miles away. "Well I gotta go, talk to you later Sakura. Bye!" ... "Yeah... bye..."
