I hope you enjoy this little extra! It goes along with Chapter 6! I think I'll post an extra every time the views go up by one thousand. I know this may seem like a lot, but we're already halfway to the next check point of 4k! I know that 3k isn't a tremendous amount of reads, but I'm just stoked that Rodeo Hearts has even gotten this far. I hope everyone is enjoying this book and I hope this extra is the icing on the cake. Thank you for reading!

Brayden's POV
There's no certainty that I'd see her anytime soon. There's no guaranteed that the next time I see her, she won't be in a relationship. I think I'll take advice from the saying, "God helps those who helps themselves."
I inwardly smiled at the thought of seeing Aurora again. If I could find out where she hosts her clinics at or which rodeo she would at the next, then I could make it a point to see her. I made a mental note of looking up her website later to see if there is anything that would help me there.
I promise I'm not a stalker. Have you ever been so attracted to a person you would try to sneak glances whenever you could? Well, that's sort of what I'm going through right now.
Pistol elbowed me in the ribs as we sat on the back of the bucking chutes.
"It's almost time for you to shine, lover boy." My eyes widen as Pistol finished his sentence.
"What are you talking about?" I quickly recovered from my surprise.
He smirked before he spoke, "You've taken a lot hits in this sport, but not enough to make you go loopy. You know exactly what I'm talking about or shall I jog your memory?"
"No. I think I've suddenly remembered what you were talking about." I chuckled nervously.
"I'm glad we got that cleared up. Now, get your hind end up and go give those folks a 90 point ride!" Pistol patted me on the back as I stood up.
...............
I settled down on one of the rankest bulls in the rodeo, Dooms Days. His name alone was enough to make you want to run for the hill. Dooms Day was a huge dark brown bull. People looked at him in awe as his muscles would ripple whenever he bucked or even just walked.
I grab my rope and walk to the chute where Dooms Day was waiting. After I had the bull rope on him, I gave one of the other bull riders the end of my rope. Pistol was standing behind me waiting to do his job. As I was climbing into the chute I grabbed the other side of railing to steady myself. I let the bull know I was climbing in by setting my foot gently down on the bull's back.
I held on both sides of the chute before climbing in. I worked my bull rope back and forth to get the slack out.. The other bull rider who held my rope pulled out the slack. Pistol was spotting me the whole time I was getting situated in the chute. I worked the rosin on the tail end of the bull rope that was being held. As soon as the rosin was sticky and hot,I done the same to the handle of the bull rope.
I put my gloved hand in the handle and began to wrap my rope on my hand. As soon as I was ready, I nodded my head for the chute to open. I felt Dooms Day shift right before the gate swings opens.
Dooms Day leaped from the gate and started to buck fast and hard. The faces of the crowd were blurred as he spun around. I kept my chin down and my posture as well as I could. With every buck and spin, I could feel the strain on my body from holding on. Adreline pumped through my veins as I neared eight seconds. I heard the buzzer go off.
Within seconds, I had dismounted and Dooms Day was chasing me from the arena. He was mad that he had been bested. I ran to the nearest corral panel that served as the arena fence. The bullfighters lured him away from me and back into his pen. I jumped down from the fence and walked over to my hat that lay on the ground. The crowd had erupted in cheers throughout the ride.
I dusted my black 'Stetson' hat off before waving to the crowd. The announcer came over the speakers, "Was that a great ride or What? Brayden Morris just posted a score of 92.5! He's just moved into first place! There's promising things ahead for this young man!"
As soon as he told the crowd my score, I waved to the crowd. One of the bullfighters ran over to me and gave me my bull rope. He congratulated me and gave me a pat on the back. I thanked him as I walked back behind the chutes. Later that night, I accepted my belt buckle and check in the middle of the arena.
A few days I sat on the bed in my hotel room. Pistol had gotten drunk at the after party one of the contestants had hosted. He was now passed out on his bed beside my own. We roomed and traveled together since we had first started in our high school days.
I looked up, "Lamar Horsemanship" on my phone. I clicked on the first website, I came to. On the website there was a drop down box with several different titles on it; Breeding, Training, Clinics, About the Trainer. I looked over all the pages before I clicked on the Clinic link. The earliest rodeo scheduled was about a week away. The place it was going to be hosted at was a few hours away from where we were at.
When Pistol woke up, I told him of my plans. A we got ready to leave, he encouraged me to go to the clinic to see her and ask her out. I told him that I wasn't sure whether or not I should go. As we drove back home to Wyoming, I contemplated whether or not it would be a good idea.
~~~~~~~IMPORTANT AUTHOR'S NOTE~~~~~~I will post a chapter tomorrow night or Sunday!
I want to know what you think of this book.
Is it getting boring? Am I keeping you interested? Comment and tell me your opinion!
I want your feedback so I will know what to change and to add. I don't want to tell you what's going to happen throughout the book, but I do want to let you know that if you will stick with me it'll be worth it. There's going to be some unexpected 'twists' throughout the book that you'll never be expecting. As cliché as it seems now; the ending won't be in no way cliché or expected. I hope that you will continue to read my book and stick with me through the boring parts (I have to include them as filler chapters).
If you liked this book, please vote, comment, and share.
I also wanted to let you that I am also working on a Civil War Romance! So, let me know if you would be interested in a book like this. I think that I will most likely write the whole book out then post the chapters to keep everyone waiting too long.
