Question: secret?

I had this amazing girlfriend, well ex girlfriend now. I was afraid of what my family would think. They aren't exactly open to that kind of thing in fact if they knew I was writing this, I would be eternally grounded. Anyways I was afraid because of distance. How it would work. I was just afraid of one of us waking up and losing feelings. I'm afraid to lose her as my best friend. She's someone I can't go a day without.  We made a agreement when we meet, we will go on a date (granted we both are single) and see how it goes. And go from there.

Joe looked deep into the blue shimmering eyes of his lover. The past month seemed to be horrible for him. The entire school hates and picks on Joe constantly ever since he was outed. His parents had told both his sister and him that they were getting divorced his, his grades were slipping, and his dog died. Everything to just seem horrible.

"Have you ever felt like your fighting a battle that you know you going to lose, so you just give up because the pain your endorse now will somehow be less of the pain you endorse during the battle? Like yeah it hurts like hell but,m it's going to hurt more if you keep fighting? Does that even make sense Casp?" Caspar nodded his head, pulling the smaller boy closer to him. Caspar knew exactly what Joe was talking about and he hater it.

He hated that Joe would even think about something like that. He hated the fact that one day, he might not be there when Joe did something that he would regret the rest of his life. He hated the fact that one day, Joe could be gone.

"Yeah but that's when you enlist help from other people. Send out a postcard saying 'I enlist you to help me win this fight'". Joe slightly mailed, snuggling closer into Caspar's chest. Maybe Caspar was right. Maybe a little help would be nice.

"Casp?" Caspar sat up, pulling Joe with him, till they were both facing each other. "I'm so confused. I don't know why this is all happening to me. Everyone tells me everything happens for a reason, but what's the reason for this? I get tormented everyday at school for being who I am, then I come home only to watch my mom pack everything away. I'm just confused and I don't know what to do. Please help." Joe sounds so weak and fragile. His voice cracking and he tried not to let the tears fall from his face.

He didn't want to cry, that should weakness. He wanted to be able to just walk up to his problems and hit them in the head till they leave him alone. He didn't want to be afraid of them. He wanted to rule them.

Caspar just looked at the boy in his arms. The boy he had known since kindergarten. The boy who had stolen his heart in sixth grade when he first ever song. The boy who he could never replace. The boy who was once a day of hope and laughter. Now though, now he was filled with darkness.

"Joe you can't stop what's happening. It's also not your fault either. Your parents? They both love you like crazy. But right now, they just don't love each other like they use to. And as for the school thing, just tell someone. A teacher, me, anyone. I just want to see that smile that lights up my world when all I see is black." Joe looked up towards Caspar who just kept looking forward and smiling. "Those beautiful, beautiful blue eyes, that everything I look in, I feel like my heart is racing at a million hours per second."

"Casp-"

"Let me finish." The blonde kissed the brunettes forehead before continuing. " the voice that's like candy to my ears. Everything about you is amazing. I'm lucky to have you. And so what if I'm the only one that thinks that way? Because I will never leave you unless you tell me to go. No matter how much it hurts I'll go when you say." Joe nodded as a stray tear fell from his eye. Caspar noticed, wiping it away with the pad of his thumb.

For the next hour they stayed in that same position till finally Joe fell asleep, cuddled in Caspar's arms. In the place that he felt truly safe.

"Get you hands off of me." Joe tried to push the boy off of him, but it didn't work. The boy, josh, grip was to strong.

"I see the way you look at me." Joe tried again to free his arm from joshed grip.

"What way? With disgust? Good then we are on the same page." Josh's face seemed to grow red. They weren't use to Joe talking back. He had always just let them do what they wanted. "Now let me go before I scream."

Josh was about to say something when Caspar came running down the hallway. "I swear to god josh if you don't take your hand off my boyfriend I will cut off your dick and shove it down your throat!" Josh looked up when he heard the noise of the South African, and quickly let go of Joe. Joe looked down at his wrist that was turning a shade of dark purple.

By the time Caspar had reached Joe, josh was long gone. "Baby are you okay? Did he hurt you more? You have a bruise on your wrist. I will fucking hurt him." Caspar looked done at Joe's wrist again.

"Caspar you just outed yourself." Caspar looked up when e heard Joe speak. He just shrugged his should a before looking down at the bruise. "Don't you care?"

"No, not at all. Because now we can be together." Joe nodded his head not believing what he was hearing. "Now let's go talk to the principle about this." Joe walked beside Caspar, carefully taking his hand in his own. He looked at everyone who was looking at both of them with surprise. "I love you."
