Chapter 5

The next morning I woke up to the smell of,

Freshly baked bread, crispy bacon, fresh orange juice and....Pancakes!

Morning mom

*Morning princesa, your werewolf sense of smell is getting stronger*

*Wake up the others, come and look for yourself*

I woke everyone up. And we all made our way downstairs to have breakfast. And yep I got it all right! We finished breakfast and got ready for school. As we were about to leave I over heard my mom and dad talking in the living room,

"Honey we need to tell her" my mom pleaded

"Yeah I know but its gonna be tough" my dad sighed,

"No quiero perder a mi bebé George (I dont want to lose my baby George)"

"Me neither Maria, me neither"

Then I heard my mom start to crying.

I should really stop ease dropping on them I thought to myself, I knew that it would bother me all day,

"Bye mom bye dad" I called out from the door,

"Bye sweetie, bye guys" they both said. I closed the door and began to walk to school with my friends. They started talking but I really didn't feel like talking. They must have noticed because Kayla asked if I was alright,

"Are you okay giggles?". Giggles was my nickname everyone used to call me when I was 9 its because I used to giggle or laugh at anything and everything and I couldn't help it. I smiled at that memory and replied,

"Yeah I'm fine" I decided not to tell them about what my mom and dad were talking about, I just didn't want them to be worried. When I got to school, I walked straight to my locker to see what lessons I had.

Yes!! No drama I don't think I can face Jacob after what happened yesterday. I toke all my biology books out of my locker and into my bag.

"You ready for Bio?" asked Jay. I kinda got distracted because I felt like someone was watching me...

"YN? Hello?...earth to YN" Jay said snapping his fingers in my face.

"What?" I snapped out of it

"I said.. are you ready for Bio?"

"Oh yeah sure" I replied. We started to walk to the labs. As we were walking I told Jay what had happened that morning, I mean we've been best friends since diapers so he might as well know.

"What do you think they mean?" he asked

"I don't know Jay, its really irritating me" I replied

"Just try not to think about it, we'll all help you to forget about it plus I figured out what it means when your eyes turn light green" he said looking a bit worried,

"Go on what does it mean?" I said looking at him anxiously

"You might not like it but it means......you're in love" he said raising an eyebrow and braced his self as if I was going to hit him, he lifted his hands in front of his face, "don't get the face, anything but the face"

"IN LOVE?!" I whispered loudly. I stopped walking, then burst out laughing "I don't do falling in love...you are so stupid. No that's definitely not the reason" my voice went higher as I spoke,

"You're lying YN, c'mon I know when you're lying. You might seem tough on the outside but you are just a big softy on the inside" he said nudging me, I looked at him then he looked at me and burst out laughing because we both knew that I don't 'love' or 'falling in love'...crush? yes but not love. Unless someone would changed my mind...

We walked into biology class just in time for regestration, but my smile was completly wiped off my face

Oh great, I forgot Jacob was in this class. Jacob sat in a chair across from mine.

"Oh God help me through this lesson" I whispered a silent prayer, Jay heard me and started chuckling, which made me laugh too. I sat on my seat not even looking at Jacob, that way I thought I would avoid speaking to him,

"Good morning class, today is the day where you'll be given an assignment for next week as you are not in school...." said Mrs Stinson. The class started groaning.

"Its only a small one I just want you to pair up and make a short presentation on parts of the body, I've put your names on small slips of paper which has a topic you will be working on. And it will match someone else's slip of paper in the class. YN could you hand out everyone's slips of paper?" continued Mrs Stinston,

"Sure" GREAT my plan of avoiding Jacob has totally failed. I got up from my seat and took the slips of paper and handed them out to everyone. I got to Jacob and he smiled. Lord above help me avoid this FINE boy I looked the other way and sat in my seat.

"Okay I'm just going to give you the rest of this lesson to find your partners" said Mrs Stinson. I looked over at Jay who was sitting next to me.

"What topic did you get?" we both said at the same time

"No I asked first?!" we did it again and laughed,

"Okay I'll count to 3 then we'll say the topic at the same time okay?" I stated. He nodded.

"1...2....3"

"The human eye" Jay shouted

"The human heart" I shouted

"Damn" we both said at the same time,

"Well then who are our partners?" I asked

"Maybe I'm your partner" I looked behind me and Jacob was looking right at me,

OMG his smile is soo dreamy...concentrate YN. He smirked and said,

"So what topic have you got?"

"The human heart, you?" I answered. He chuckled and said

"Guess your drama AND biology partner"

YESS!. But then I remembered what happened in the field, NOO!

" I guess so" I replied smirking at him,

"ALRIGHT! that has given you enough time to find your partners, now I've taken the liberty to find some textbooks about the different parts of the body, remember to keep it as interesting as possible...3..2..1" the bell rang right on cue and the whole class laughed and started to get out of the class. Before I could catch up with Jay, Jacob grabbed my arm,

"Hey before you dart off again, erm I was wandering if you wanna come to my house after school, you know for drama and biology". I froze. I couldn't believe it.

"Errm errrm...." was all I could say! I mean...THE JACOB PEREZ THE HOTTEST BOY IN SCHOOL 'HOT JACOB' HAS ASKED ME TO GO TO HIS HOUSE! I'm about to pass out.....play it cool YN play it cool, I smiled and replied

"Y-yeah s-sure, "

"Okay I'll meet you by your locker at the end of the day, 647 right?" He stated, All I could do was nod and smile like an idiot.

"See you later then?"" he said smiling back at me. I swallowed up my nervousness and managed to say something else other than, 'yeah sure'.

"Alright," I nodded. I turned towards the door and walked away. I looked back at Jacob who was not too far away, he looked at me up and down slowly and smirked at me and I felt all jelly-like and once again my stomach started doing somersaults. I smiled back him and turned back around to find Kayla, Toya and Jay standing outside of the room with impressed looks on their faces. Jacob walked passed us and we all watched him get as far away as possible so he couldn't hear us. When he did Toya started squealing and rapidly tapping my arm,

"Girl you work quick!!" Toya said in her loud voice, snapping her fingers.

"I know chica (girl)" I smirked at her trying hard not to laugh, I was a nervous wreck and we all knew it. This realisation made Jay start laughing, which made everyone else laugh too.

"We laugh way too much" Kayla said holding in her giggles

"I know right, c'mon maths next" said Toya
