Chapter 7

I must have blacked out for quite a while. I still thought I was in a state of unconsciousness because I could hear Jacob and Jacob's mom talking but I couldn't lift my head or opened my eyes.

"Is she going to be okay mom?"

"Yeah she's going to be okay, just lift her onto your bed and pass me that hot towel, she's ice cold"

"Alright". I felt Jacob lift me up quite easily onto his bed,

"Take her sunglasses off I need to check her eyes" I felt a pair of hands take my sunglasses off and then another pair of hands open my eyes. I was too weak to leave then open.

"Mom her eyes are bright red!"

*YN?....YN?*

Jacob?

*urm hey hav-*

What the hell?! Jacob?!

*YN listen.....I'm a vampire*

What?! Jacob is a vampire. I repeated that sentence 20 times in my head.

This made so much sense. When we were in drama and he replied to my thoughts and covered it up. This also explains the reason why he was at the field hanging out with vampires and werewolves. He always wears sunglasses indoors because if his eyes changed colour no one would know. Everything began to click. No wonder he was a track and football star.

Toya and Kayla asked why don't I just wear contacts but they don't even work, if my eyes change colour so does the contacts.

Its kind of a disadvantage when vampires are in battle because the opponents know exactly when your angry, sad, embarrassed the list goes on...

*Look YN there isn't time for this...question me later, have you had any blood today?*

Come to think of it I actually haven't

*That's why you've fainted, I'll give you the emergency pack, do you think you're strong enough to drink it?*

I don't know Jacob, I'm too weak

Using my vampire powers and any strength I had left in me, I opened my eyes and lifted my head to find Jacob and his mom staring at me. I still felt a bit dizzy but I didn't want to worry Jacob or his mom,

"Are you okay honey?" his mom asked

"Yeah I think so" I replied rubbing my forehead with the hot towel. Jacob handed over a pack filled with blood. I inserted my fangs into the packet and drank the blood,

"I still feel a bit weak" I said unable to lift my head anymore.

"Its okay darling just rest your head, the blood hasn't settled in yet. I'll call your mom and let her know you're okay" Jacob's mom said getting the empty packet of blood from my hands and walking out of Jacob's room,

"Thanks Mrs Perez" I said politely as possible. Jacob's mom nodded and left the room and Jacob sat at the end of the bed. I felt a so bad for causing a scene, and super embarrassed,

"Sorry for causing such a fuss" I said looking down, he lifted my chin and replied,

"It's okay, glad I helped you" I smiled and then there was a silence. I have to ask him this is too awkward.

"So, you're a vampire huh?" I asked

"Yep" he smiled showing his fangs and he chuckled,

"Well I didn't exactly finish my answer to your question. I'm part vampire part werewolf so a vampwolf, my dad is a werewolf and my mom is a vampire. I can read minds, control the 4 elements and shapeshift as well as turning into a werewolf"

"Woah that's cool, normal vampires only have one power, but you've got like 6" he sounded so surprised, I laughed and replied

"Yeah but its quite hard to control them all" we both laughed, he looked down and said,

"Well I already know that you could control the elements"

"You do?" I asked lifting my head up at him

"The field" he said trying to jog my memory oh I forgot about that ,

"Oh yeah you do, I thought you'd think I was some sort of freak so I ran off" I giggled nervously

"I kinda already knew you were a vampire anyway"

"What? when?"

"When we were 7. I saw you help this little flower to grow and spring back to life, then when we were 10, I saw you drink blood from your packet behind one of the biggest trees on the playground" I laughed because I knew it was true.

We spent an hour talking about what we used to do when we were little to hide the fact that we were vampires.

"Why didn't you say anything?" I asked, by this time the blood had settled in and I was back to health, so I was sitting next to Jacob who still had his sunglasses on.

"I didn't want to freak you out"

"Well you did today" I said and we both laughed then Jacob said,

"So you can shape shift?"

"Yep, into anything I want". Then Jacob explained to me that the guys that he was hanging out with at the field had pulled a prank on him a couple of days ago and that he was meaning to get them back. I asked him how I was going to help him, then he explained the plan. Don't get me wrong it was a great plan but I wanted to get something back in return,

"Only if you take off your shades" I said with a smug look on my face. After a while he nodded and toke off his shades.

He has the most beautiful hazel eyes I've ever seen

"Dude stop reading my mind"

"Chica (girl) stop drooling" I wiped my mouth while he chuckled, I stood up in front of him and asked,

"Okay so what do you want me to do again?"

Mrs Perez's POV

I was sitting in the kitchen, helping the chefs prepare dinner because my husband was coming home after weeks of being away for a business meeting.

As I'm helping chopped the onions, Jacob comes downstairs to tell me that YN is back to full health.

"Okay I talked to her mom and she agreed that she can stay over for the night just in case she isn't strong enough to go home," I explained while walking Jacob out of the kitchen and near the staircase,

"Cool I'll go tell her" Jacob replied, going up the stairs, but then another Jacob came downstairs and said,

"No I'll tell her" I was so confused I didn't know what to do, I thought I was going crazy,

"Woah what the hell is going on?! I didn't give birth to 2 Jacob Perezs!" I yelled. They both burst out laughing but I didn't see anything that was funny, Then I realized what was going on, YN had shapshifted into Jacob to pull a prank on me. At this point YN had changed back to normal and was waving at me,

"Hi Mrs Perez"

"Ha ha very funny guys," I said sarcastically "you guys had me scared!" we all laughed then the real Jacob stated that YN can shape shift, control the 4 elements AND read minds. To be honest I already knew that because YN is a very rare breed of vampire, well she isn't even a vampire..she's a hybrid of werewolf and vampire and that's even more rare and unique. So I proceeded to do the motherly thing and pretend that I didn't know a darn thing,

"Oh really YN?" YN nodded "wow, well dinner will be done in a couple minutes and Jacob, your dad will be coming soon, so formal suits please, you both get ready for dinner while I run and get YN's stuff from her house" They both agreed and YN said thank you and followed Jacob upstairs. This girl is perfect for Jacob.
