Chapter 6

We made our way to maths laughing on the way like we normally did.

I hated maths! Well to be honest it was only because we had the most boring teacher ever...Mrs Mosbey. But today I wasn't really bothered about her. Why?

I'm going to Jacob's house after school. That's why. Outside I acted my normal self pretending like it never happened. But inside I was having a little party. This makes me sound soo wierd but hey, I really liked the guy.

We all walked into class and sat in our normal places, Jacob wasn't in this class, at least I wouldn't get distracted. Wrong. I can't stop thinking about him

"YN, your eyes have gone light green again" stated Kayla

"Oh shit" I cursed under my breath, getting my sunglasses from my bag and putting them on,

"I know why her eyes are green" said Jay singing,

"Jay thinks my eyes are green because I'm 'in love'" I said. Toy and Kayla both looked at me then at each other and started laughing. I shoke my head and walked up to my seat ready for class.

"CLASS GET YOUR BOOKS OUT AND GET READY FOR MATHS" Mrs Mosbey screeched but everyone started whispering "Oh shut up you do this every lesson," the class was silent and she carried on speaking, "work from pages 132 - 141" everyone resumed their conversations, "in silence" she added coldly. The class groaned but started whispering again anyway and passing notes to each other. I shook my head and carried on with my work but also texting Kayla and Toya who where at the other side of the classroom.

Class was over, it was now break so I went to my locker to get my sketchbook and removed my sunglasses. I had art class next with Mr Jones and he hated us wearing sunglases indoors. I closed my locker and went toward the yard looking for my friends. As I was walking down the hallway, I spotted the school jocks coming my way, blocking my entire exit.

oh shit!. I had no other way of passing them except to go though them.

Here goes nothing I toke a deep breath and I made my way through the group and to my surprise they parted like the red sea. I looked to my right and saw Jacob smiling at me and shaking his head then I saw one of Jacob's friend, Trey practically drooling. I flashed a smile at him and walked right past them pretending they weren't even there,

"Damn she is fine"

"Someone please give me reasonable explanation to why she is still single"

"Baby got back"

"Yo isn't that Jacob's girl?". Those were just some of the things the boys said, I can't complain they are all really hot. Just to play along I turned around, winked and smirked at them, don't ask me where this sudden burst of confidence came from because till this day I have no idea.

"Damn she the baddest!!" shouted Trey, trying to get my attention, but I just ignored him and turned back around to see my best friends with opened mouths,

"Woah what was that all about?" Jay asked with his arm around Kayla which I thought was cute but I was not going to get used to it.

"I have no idea" I replied with a smile on my face,

"Girl you had them wrapped around your little finger and all you did was walk and smile" asked Toya laughing.

"She the baddest," imitated Kayla in a high pitched voice. which made me giggle "I can't stand him" Trey was Kayla's ex, (He cheated on her with the head cheerleader) but she knows Jacob better than I do and that's also how she knows that Jacob wouldn't tell anyone about what happened on the field, and so far I haven't heard anyone say anything.
