Roses and Violets

Chapter 7:

Brooke:

I was sitting on the couch waiting for Paisley to get back from picking a movie. Since she was leaving tomorrow we decided to have a bum it day.

"Look what I found." She sang coming back into the room holding Mean Girls. It just so happened today was Wednesday, so of course she we were wearing our Mean Girls merch. My shirt said 'You can't sit with us' while hers said 'on Wednesdays we wear pink.' And of course it was pink.

I cheered and popped the DVD into the player and curled up on the couch. As we were watching the guys came in and Luke freaked out. "And four for Glen Coco, you go Glen Coco." We all said with the movie.

"Luke, it is Wednesday where is your pink?" Paisley asked pointing to her shirt.

"I forgot." He said sadly. The way he pouted made me want to kiss him. Ugh, I need to stop!

"Then you can't sit with us." I said as we both sprawled out over the couch giving him no room.

"Fine." He said giving up and sitting on the floor.

"Man I hate that movie." Mike said as he walked off to the basement game room.

After the movie we decided to have a bonfire. We set up everything and just sat around in camping chairs toasting s'mores and telling stories.

"Wait so she actually punched you in the face?" Luke asked amazed at the story.

"Yes I tried scary Paisley for Halloween and when I did she punched me in the face." I said as we all laughed.

For some odd reason Luke's laugh made me feel all tingly inside, I don't understand why I feel like this when he's around it makes no sense, I don't really know him, why would I have feelings for him.

Eventually we got bored and put the fire out and went to bed. The next morning we woke up and headed for the airport.

"I feel so bad that you have to go back by yourself." I said to Paisley as we waited for her flight to be called.

"I'll be fine, I promise." She said.

"I'm gonna miss you so much." I said pulling her into a hug.

"Awe babes, I'm gonna miss you too, but I'll see you soon. Ill try and come back down for Christmas." She said pulling away from the hug.

"Alright. I'll see you in a few months then." I said as her flight was called to board.

"Yes you will." She said waving at everybody and she left.

We got home and I was kinda lost I didn't really know what to do with myself, we were always by each other's side until one of us fell asleep.

"You okay?" Calum asked waving his hand in front of my face.

We were playing Uno but I kept zoning out. "Yeah I just miss Paisley that's all." I said laying down my card.

"Alright I'm bored, we need something fun to do." Mike said standing up.

"Like what there's nothing to do around here." Luke said.

"Mini golf." Mike said.

"I'll get my keys." Ashton said as Calum and I put the Uno deck away.

We got to the mini golf place 20 minuets later and soon started our game. "Just a warning, don't stand behind me." I said.

"Yeah I know." Luke said causing me to giggle and blush. What is it with this kid!?

I hit the ball. "Yes hole in one, beat that." I shouted doing a little victory dance.

By the time the game ended. Ashton had launched a golf ball into the woods surrounding the place. Mike put 3 in the the little river running through the course and Calum lost his club. In the end I won anyway and not because I was the only that had both my ball and golf club.

"You guys suck at mini golf." I said as we got back in the car.

"We just weren't trying, didn't want to hurt your ego." Calum said.

"Or you just didn't wanna hurt yours because you would have been beat by a girl." I said sticking my tongue out at him.

"Oh it's on." Calum said as he started tickling me.

"No stop I take it back." I shouted as I laughed.

"Do not make me stop this car." Ashton said.

"Sorry dad." I said crossing my arms over my chest.

Eventually a song came on the radio that we all knew and we started scream singing, the song was Stacey's mom. Ashton cranked the radio up and I swear the cops were gonna be after us soon.

"STACEYS MOM HAS GOT IT GOING ON, SHES ALL THAT I WANT AND IVE WAITED FOR SO LONG!" We sang.

Soon after the song ended we pulled into the driveway and went inside. We all ended up chilling in my room again. I told Calum to pick a random CD to play and he picked All Time Low, of course.

We listened to that for a while and then they decided they wanted to play video games. We were playing Grand theft auto when we heard a knock on the door.

"Yeah?" I asked and the door opened.

"Sis, there's someone at the door for you, he says he needs to talk to you." Harry said from the door way.

That's odd I don't know anyone from here. "Alright I'll be down in a little bit, thanks bud." I said as he closed the door and walked away.

I got up from my bed and looked out my window only to see my worst nightmare come to life.

Standing outside the door was the one person I never wanted to see again, he scared the shit out of me. It was Trey.
