Roses and Violets

Chapter 29:

Brooke:

It's been three days since that night. I was in the kitchen making pancakes for dinner. The guys just got back from the studio and have tomorrow off. Luke came in the kitchen and wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his chin on top of my head.

"Hi babe." I said as I flipped the pancake in the pan.

"Hi." He said.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing just hungry." He said kissing my neck.

"Foods almost ready." I said as he then grabbed my ass.

"Hands off cheeky boy. Her and I are going to the mall tonight." Paisley called as she walked into the kitchen.

Later that night Paisley and I left to head to the mall. We were going for a late showing of a movie and we were having a girls night out.

I was wearing the shirt Luke got me that says 'Luke Hemmings thinks I'm kinda hot' with blue ripped skinny jeans and my all black converses.

Paisley was wearing shorts with a shirt that read 'don't know don't care' with her white vans. After the movie it was just after midnight and we were still wide awake.

We went and got Starbucks after the movie and then headed back to the house. By the time we got back everyone was asleep except for Luke and Ashton who were sitting on the couch watching tv.

We walked in and Paisley let out a yawn and grabbed my arm walking for the stairs. "I guess where going to bed good night." I said walking with her up to our room.

Paisley fell asleep relatively quick but I had a hard time falling asleep. Soon Paisley started mumbling in her sleep.

"I have to tell him!" She said as she sat up in bed.

Her eyes were still shut and she was still breathing as though she was sleeping. She was sleepwalking... Again. I threw the blankets off me and got up to follow her.

I followed her and she stopped at Ashton's door. She hesitated before opening the door and walking in. Ashton was sound asleep and she walked over to him.

"Babe" she whispered poking him.

"Babe." She said shaking him now.

"Ash!" She shouted slapping him on the cheek. He jolted awake.

"Paisley?" He asked, I stayed in the hallway.

"Babe, I think I'm pregnant." She said giggling as she poked him.

I was standing there hoping she was lying when I felt arms wrap around my waist. I let out a small shriek as a hand covered my mouth.

"Shh. It's just me." I heard Luke say from behind me. I relaxed into his arms and he kissed my neck.

I looked into the room to see Paisley sleeping peacefully next to Ashton in his bed. I walked back to my room, Luke following me. I laid down in my bed, Luke behind me, and got under the covers.

Soon sleep took over my body.

I woke up to Paisley shaking me. "Brooke please wake up." She said. I opened my eyes, Luke was still sleeping next to me.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"6 in the morning." She said.

"Why are you waking me up?" I asked.

"I need you to come with me." She said. I didn't protest I just got out of Luke's arms, somehow, and got dressed for the day.

We left and went to the doctors office for an unknown reason. "Why are we here?" I asked.

"Put it simply the condom broke." She said.

"Okay." I said going back to playing on my phone.

Luckily, she wasn't pregnant and was then put on birth control. We got back to the house and the guys were frantically looking around the house.

"What are you looking for?" I asked walking in the door.

"You and Pai- where were you guys?" Luke asked rushing over and pulling me into a hug and picking me up spinning me around. He set me down and pecked my lips lightly.

"We just did some shopping that's all." I said not wanting to say something Paisley would get mad at me for.

"Well next time at least leave a note or text me please, you had me worried sick."
