Roses and Violets

Chapter 8:

Brooke:

It's been 4 days since Trey showed up here. I never answered the door and eventually he left. I don't understand what he wants from me all of a sudden or how he knew I was here.

Calum decided that we should get out of the house so him and I are going to the mall. Last second he asked if Luke could come and I figured why not the more the merrier.

After I got out of the shower I went to my closet and picked something to wear. I decided on black skinny jeans with boots and my long sleeve polka dot sweater. Call me crazy but somehow I can still be cold in 80 degree weather.

I blow dried and straightened my hair and grabbed my beanie. I walked down stairs and Ashton and Mike were on the couch the TV playing in the background as they scrolled through their phones.

A couple minuets later the door opened and Calum and Luke walked in. "Awe, you look so cute." Calum said hugging me.

"Thanks?" I said more like a question.

After the guys talked for a little bit we decided to head out. We got to the mall and started walking around aimlessly, going into whatever stores we thought were interesting.

Eventually I went to Victoria's Secret, I told the guys to stay outside but I guess they came in because 5 minuets later they found me.

"Babe, do you think these will make my ass look big?" Calum asked holding up a thong.

"No babe, that will make your ass look small." I said handing him a different one. "This is the one you need." I said dying of laughter.

A couple minuets later Luke walked over with a bra. "Here Calum, can't forget this." He said handing it to him.

"My boobs aren't big enough for this." Calum pouted looking at the size.

"It's okay, we'll stuff it." I said like it was nothing. I was looking around when I spotted some lingerie.

I walked over to it and picked something random. "What do you think?" I asked holding it in front of me. Calum burst out laughing while Luke just stood there blushing.

"Omg, CALUM, LUKE! I LOVE YOU GUYS!" We heard a girl scream. They turned around and a girl came running at them.

"I'm a huge fan." I heard her say as I put the clothing back. "Can I get a picture?" She asked rambling on.

"Of course." Luke smiled at her. "Brooke you wanna take the picture?" Calum asked me. I could see the happiness in their eyes. They love their fans so much.

"Of course." I said taking the girls phone. I snapped the picture and gave her phone back.

"So Brooke, are you and Luke dating?" She asked.

"No, why?" I asked her.

"Oh no reason, just the fandom wants it to happen. Well bye." She said and ran off. That was weird.

"Ya know I just realized, I had this bra on for the picture." Calum said after a few minuets of awkward silence. We all broke out into fits of laughter and we left.

We continued walking when we found Spencer's. We went in and as I was looking at the jewelry the guys went and did their own thing.

"Look I'm a princess." Luke said. I turned around and he was wearing a tiara that read 'bitch' I just laughed and went back to looking at the jewelry.

"I feel pretty." Calum said. I turned to look at him and he was wearing a sash that said bride to be with a pink cowboy hat. I laughed and joined the fun.

I put on a SnapBack that had lights in it. I turned the lights on and the guys and I laughed "dance party." Calum said and we all started dancing.

Eventually we got yelled at and we left, we went to Journey's. I got a new pair of converses and the guys got snapbacks. We left the mall soon after.

As we pulled into the drive way I saw someone standing at the door and when they turned and faced the car I felt a chill going down my spine. It was Trey again.

I got out of the car hoping he would just go away, wow I was stupid. "Hey, babe I'm glad I found you." He said as I grabbed my bags and shut the door.

I didn't say anything just made my way for the door only for him to grab my arm right on my burn marks. I yelped out in and pain and dropped what I was carrying.

"Don't ignore me!" He said his voice slightly raised. I could tell by the look in his eyes that he was wasted. I started shaking from fear.

"I want nothing to do with you." I squeaked out.

"Common babe it was one mistake, you've forgotten by now haven't you? Forget and forgive right?" He said with a sly smile.

"It's forgive and forget and I haven't forgiven you and I definitely haven't forgotten." I said slapping him across the face. The look of pain on his face gave me pleasure.

"Don't slap me!" He said slapping me back as the door opened.

"What the fuck man!" Ashton yelled from the doorway.

"You stay out of this." Trey said as he picked me up and started walking away with me. I screamed and all of a sudden the guys were all out here. I was, once again, in Luke's arms as he carried me inside.

"Shhh. It's okay I've got you." Luke said sitting down and sitting me on his lap holding me close.

"It's gonna be okay." He said as I cried into his chest and for some odd reason I believed him.

A couple minuets later the other three came back inside and the door slammed. "That fucking prick." Ashton said as he walked to the kitchen. He came back minuets later with an ice pack for my cheek.

"He won't be bothering you again." Ashton said kissing my forehead as I stayed shaking in Luke's arms.
