Chapter 11:

Brooke:

"Brooke, Brooke wake up." I heard someone say as they shook me.

"No, I'm sleeping go away." I said as I rolled over.

"You don't wanna go to the zoo?" I heard them ask again.

"Zoo? what? yes!" I said sitting up, I ended up smacking heads with the person, it turning out to be Calum.

"Shut up, some people are trying to sleep over here." Paisley mumbled.

"Get your ass up we're going to the zoo." I said throwing my pillow at her as the rest of the guys came in.

"PANDAS!" Paisley screamed as she sat up and then ran off for my bathroom.

"I call the shower!"I screamed.

"Too late I'm already in the bathroom." She said as I heard the water start.

"Damn it!" I said.

I went to my closet and started picking out our outfits for when she gets out of the shower. The shower soon turned off and I walked over to the door with the outfit I picked for her knowing she wasn't gonna come out in front of the guys in only a towel. "Thanks babes." She said as she took the outfit.

The outfit was just a red marvel shirt with blue ripped skinny jeans and red high top converses. My outfit was just a mickey mouse tank top with shorts and white converses and one of Ashton's hats I stool. After I got my shower I blow dried my hair and straitened it putting the hat on. We grabbed our bags and some water and left.

We were in the elevator that took us from the zoo gates to the zoo and as we rode we copied the TMNT elevator scene. Mike started it. "MC Mikey." He said and started clapping and that was what got us all going. We got out of the elevator, all of us still dying of laughter. We were walking around when we got to the giraffes. I may have a slight obsession with them. "Do you think I would get in trouble for going in and riding a giraffe?" I asked no one in particular. "I think so." Ashton said as we kept walking.

Luke had been holding my hand off and on, I saw it more as a friendly gesture but at the same time every time he grabbed my hand my heart jumped. I swear with this boy, love seems real.

After everything with Trey I never thought I would "love" again, after that I saw love as a fools word, now I'm starting to think that its not. I'm starting to think that maybe love is real. As we walked we ran into a few fans. Luke dropped my hand but not soon enough.

"O.M.G. are you guys finally dating?" The girls asked. Luke and I just blushed when Paisley pipped up.

"No they were just holding hands and skipping around the zoo, common Brooke." She said coming over and taking my hand in hers skipping away towards the pandas.

"That was so. so.. I don't even know what to call it." I said hiding my face in my hands as I could feel my cheeks heat up even more.

"I thought it was cute that you guys were holding hands." Paisley said as we stood by the bathrooms.

"I just didn't think we would get caught by fans, the fandom is gonna blow up now because they're gonna think we're dating." I said and kept rambling when Paisley cut me off.

"Stop, take a deep breath. It's going to be okay, even if they do think you guys are dating, whats so bad about that you guys are like meant to be." Paisley said as the guys started coming back out.

"Let's just drop it we'll talk more about it later." I said as the guys started walking again. The rest of the trip Luke didn't so much as look at me. Was he mad at me?

As we were walking a Peacock crossed our path and of course Paisley and I started singing Katy Perry. "I wanna see your peacock cock cock, your peacock." We all burst out laughing as we continued walking until we got to the aquarium.

Luke went strait for the penguins while everyone else took their time looking around. I was at the polar bears when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder, I turned around to see Ashton. "Yeah?" I asked as we walked. We walked back outside and sat down waiting for the others.

"I know you're wondering why Luke's ignoring you." He started but I cut in.

"No I'm not, why would I-" I was saying but Ashton cut me off.

"I see the way you look at him Brooke, I know you like him and he likes you too, I mean hell you guys have kissed already. Luke is just paranoid that now that the fans know we wont get any piece and quiet, not like we ever really did, but he thinks more fans are gonna try and find us now because they want to know if you guys are together." Ashton said as the door opened and the rest of the guys and Paisley appeared.

When we got home I just went strait to my room Paisley following. "I don't get it, how can he not expect the fans to find out, they do better work then the FBI. I just wish he would tell me his true feelings for me, at this point I feel like one minuet he likes me and then the next he doesn't want to be seen with me." I said to Paisley as I paced my room.

"Calm down." Paisley said as she stood in front of me and grabbed my shoulders to stop my pacing.

"I'm sure he's just confused on what he wants, its a lot to think about when it comes to dating when famous, I mean trying not to get caught, if you want privacy, not to mention the factor of what to tell the fans, and most importantly you have to be able to handle all types of reactions. Now that I think about it, he's not scared of his feelings, hes trying to protect you from getting hate for being with him." She said as I laid down on my bed groaning.

"I'm used to hate at this point, I'm Ashton's half sister remember." I said into my bed.

"She's right you know, I'm just trying to protect you." Luke said.

I sat up to see that Paisley had left the room and it was just Luke and I in my room. "I don't see what I need protected from." I said as I folded my legs so I was sitting, Luke came and sat on my bed by my feet.

"The fans can be pretty wild and I know that being Ashton sister has already got some of them going but you dating one of your brothers band mates would probably make it worse." Luke said as he looked down at his hands in his lap as he played with his fingers.

I crawled over to him and used my finger to lift his chin so he was looking at me. "If Ashton's okay with it, why wouldn't they be, so they don't like me because I took away their "chance" of marrying the Luke Hemmings. They'll live." I said smiling our foreheads now against each others.

He closed the gap between us, our lips molding together, like two puzzle pieces. He pulled me so I was straddling his lap. We pulled apart and smiled. "Is that your way of saying that yes you'll go on a date with me?" He asked me.

"I dont know, is that your way of asking me on a date?" I asked.

"Yes." He said his cheeks turning a slight shade of red.

"Then yes, I will go on a date with you." I said lacing our fingers together as he pressed his lips to mine again.
