I asked my heart,
Can you not fall in love anymore? On my sleeve, where I've worn my heart, for anyone to take a stab at it, for anyone to crush it on the floor.
I asked my heart,
Can you not fall in love anymore? As he walks out the door,
leaving me to face my fears on my own, as I feel the pain burning, right to the core.
I asked my heart,
Can you not fall in love anymore? But, it's the truth.
It's the stupid and cold and brutal truth.
But I know, you'll never be mine and I won't be anyone's.
That's for sure.So, I begged my heart,
Can you not fall in love anymore?~*~
