The day was unlike any other in Sang's life the boys had the whole day planned. After spending better part of the morning at home they went toward downtown Charleston. Looked around shops decorated in Christmas decorations. Spend a little time in the park until it was time for lunch. All of them agreed on Italian and Mr. Blackbourne suggested a restaurant close by. It felt good to have everyone together. Sang was happy that they got to spend the day together. She didn't want the day to end.
"You ready, cupcake"? Luke asked her. She looked at him, confused.
"You'll see". He smirked.
Everyone got in their cars. Sang was sitting in the backseat of Norths jeep between Silas and Gabriel. Mr. Blackbourne had Dr. Sean with him. Kota and Nathan with Victor and Luke was on the passenger side of North's.
"I want to switch" Luke said turning around.
"You and Kota had her coming here. Now it's our turn." Gabriel told him. Sang just snuggled on to Silas's side. The car started moving and soon She was dozing off.
"We have to start keeping a throw in the car for her." Gabriel murmured.
Sang didn't feel the car stop. She woke when Kota called her name.
"Where are we" she asked after getting out of the car.
"James Island County park". Kota told her. " you'll know why in a bit.
It turned out to be more magical. They went on a carousel, a train ride to show different parts of the park. The place had live music. A sweet shop to Luke's delight. All of the went on a walk around the park. When it became dark the whole place lit up. Decorations with Christmas lights, a light show over the water, Santa's sleigh shooting across the sky. Sang couldn't get enough of the sights. She was sad when they decided to leave.
"Do you think she liked it" Luke asked quietly.
"She did. Did you see her face, it was brighter than the lights. We did good." Silas answered him.
Sang breathed in mask when she felt someone pick her up. She tried to wake herself up but heard north tell her to go back to sleep.
********************************
Sang woke up feeling someone pinning her down. She was scared for a second then she turned her head and saw Silas hugging her. His leg draped over hers. She tried to move him to get up. But it was impossible to move the giant. She heard "go back to sleep baby" from get left and found North on the other side. She was lying there thinking up ways to get out of this predicament when the smell of Irish spring hit her nose. Opening her eyes she found
Mr. Blackbourne looking down at her. He held out his hand to help her get out of bed. "Come outside when you are done" he whispered and went out of the bedroom.
When she went to the kitchen she found most of them sitting around the counter except North, Silas and Kota. North and Silas joined them soon.
After breakfast Gabriel took her to her bedroom to get her clothes for the day. It was skirts and boots today. The boys were ready and waiting for her. Kota joined them while she was inside.
"C'mon Agelle, are you ready" Silas came up to hug her.
"Where are we going"?
"All in good time Pookie. But first your prize for being a good girl yesterday". Dr. Sean told her putting her down on the sofa.
Kota came and kneeled down in front of her. "Sang you made our life so much better for the last few months. They I ran into you was the best day of my life. This is my token for you."
Sang was speechless. Tears covered her eyes. She took the box from Kota. It was bigger than yesterday's and it was a pretty gift box with a bow but not wrapped this time. She looked at Gabriel and raised her eye brows.
"What! I wanted to make it easy for you". He exclaimed, looking innocent.
Sang opened the box. Inside was a beautiful wooden jewelry box. It had hand carved designs all around. It gleaned in the light. What caught her eyes was on the lid was the image of two doves circling one another inlaid in white. It was beautiful... Stunning...she didn't have the words.
"Kota! It's beautiful." She kept looking at the box and its designs. She saw the hearts in the designs around the circular box.
She got up to give Kota a hug. He put his arms around her and gave her a kiss on her forehead.
Sang kind of loved being shorter than the guys. She loved the feeling when she fit right under their chins.
"Oy! Fuckers lets go! The day's a wasting".
"Only you could make that sound so right." Dr. Sean laughed.
They all piled into the car and headed for....where?
The boys gave her a day filled with surprises again. Today was carriage rides, street performers, cookie shop, (North grumbling all the way) and much to Sang's delight pictures with Santa. After lunch at a seafood restaurant the boys took her to buy toys. Sang was kind of shocked when they started buying Barbies and Tonka trucks but soon she realized why. They delivered huge bags filled with toys to a toy drive center. Some of the bags they dropped off at a local shelter for woman and children.
After a walk through the downtown district and Sang looking at every window display the started towards home. Picking up dinner on the way.
Gabriel will stay tonight. He shooed Sang to bed cleaning up with Nathan.
Sang fell asleep thinking about her day. It was magic for her.
********************************
The next morning Sang slipped out of bed before Nathan and Gabriel. She went in to the kitchen and opened the fridge. After thinking a while she decided to make French toast. She cut up fruits and put the in the fridge. She was done with her first batch when North, Luke and Victor walked in.
"Good morning Princess" Victor muttered giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning Charming" sang answered him.
All of the boys including Dr. Sean and Mr. B came in and joined breakfast.
"Are you ready Ms. Sorenson, for today's adventure"? Asked Mr. Blackbourne .
