Sang woke to find herself sandwiched between Gabriel and Luke. She laid there, not moving looking at Gabriel's face. The lines on his face, the shape of his eyes, his hair, everything that defined him. She would never get tired of looking at them.
"It's too early trouble. Go back to sleep" Gabriel murmured.
Sang giggled, "how did you know I was awake" she asked.
"You were thinking too much. We don't have to go out until late afternoon. Go back to sleep" he pulled her towards him and circled her with his arms.
Luke kissed her on the neck from behind her sending shivers through her body. "Good morning Luke" she whispered.
"Good morning cupcake."
She felt his fingers touching her sides. The next thing she knew she was on the receiving end of a tickle attack. She was out of breath when she saw Silas at the door.
"Superman! Help me"!
Silas laughed and came over to pick her up. She latched onto him like a koala bear.
"Trouble! You cheat at tickle fight too" Gabriel laughed.
"You didn't help me. Meany!" Sang laughed at him.
Silas put her down in front of the bathroom and pushed her inside. "I wish we could always be like this" she thought wistfully. No Ashley Waters, no Hendricks, McCoy or Volto.
After breakfast she helped Luke clean up and then went to the living room where Luke, Gabriel, Silas and Nathan were watching TV.
"Is anyone else coming" ? She asked.
" it's just us for now Aggele" Silas answered her. They'll be here later.
"You want to watch a movie cupcake"? Luke asked her. Sang thought it was a good idea. She was a little tired.
They decided on a Movie on pay-per-view. She started dozing off cuddling next to Gabriel. She felt some one put a blanket on her. She was almost asleep when she thought of something. She doesn't have any present for the boys. They were giving her so much and such beautiful gifts but she doesn't have anything for them. She has some money from working at the diner since she doesn't get much chances of spending it. But it wouldn't be at the same level as the boys. Sang was feeling anxious about the presents. She was still thinking about it when she fell asleep.
Someone nudged her awake. She opened her eyes to see North holding her. "We have lunch ready baby." She put her nose on his neck and breathed in his musky scent. It always made her feel safe.
Going to the kitchen She saw containers piled up at the  counter. "I got us food from the Diner" North explained. Sang wasn't going to complain. She was tired enough today to appreciate take out.
They spend the day just hanging around. One by one the others started coming in around 4pm. "Trouble lets go! We gotta get you ready"! Gabriel told her in his typical way.
" for what Meanie? Are we going somewhere?" She thought they would stay home today.
"We are going exploring" Gabriel laughed at her.
Every one piled into the car and started on their trip. Sang still didn't know where they were going. A little later they pulled in to the marina and Silas lead them towards a Boat. "It's my friends" he explained, "he is letting us borrow it".
"Is he academy" sang asked. She thought they were avoiding getting her acquainted with the members.
"No. It's someone I met here. He knows I love boats so he lets me take it out sometimes."
There was a big bulky man standing near the boat. Silas walked up to him and introduced him as Landry, the owner of the boat.
They all got on and pulled out of the marina. Silas was very comfortable operating the boat. It was a side of him that was different from the academy.
It was cold. Sang was glad Gabriel dressed her in warm clothing.
After a while the boat stopped. Sang looked around to see where they were. It looked like in the middle of the water and there were lots of other boats around them. "Where are we" she asked.
"Shh! You'll see on a minute" Luke answered. North handed everyone hot chocolate from a thermos.
Soon it was dark and Sang was still confused as to why they were here, but she didn't want to look stupid by asking.
It's as if Gabriel could here what she was thinking. He turned around and smiled at her, pulling her to his side. "You'll see Trouble! It's going to be fucking awesome. Look! " he exclaimed.
Sang turned around to see lights being turned on one at a time on the water. Like stars. Then they started taking shapes, boats! All decked out in lights. The water was a bed of lights and sparkles. Then they started a lights and laser show. After 2 hrs the show ended with fire works. Silas waited for the crowd of boats to thin out to start back towards the marina.
"Did you have a nice time Sang"? Kota asked quietly.
"Yes" she leaned backed to him. "It was beautiful. I didn't want it to end".
"Don't worry cupcake, there will be more like this on New Year. We'll be back".
Silas returned the key to Landry and did the man hug, promising to return later for s fishing trip with Sang. Sang liked Landry, maybe because he wasn't academy and could be a friend without any complications.
The night ended at a restaurant that served the best Tiramisu. Sang was licking the spoon. She realized it was very quiet at the table. She looked up to see all the guys looking at her. She saw the fire in Victor's eyes burn brighter. Luke had his dreamy face on and North had more possessive look on him than usual. It was Mr. Blackbourne that send shivers down her spine. His grey eyes was darker than she's ever seen. His usual mask was gone, replaced with something Sang wasn't sure she wanted to interstate. She felt she could melt into nothing right there.
Gabriel was the one to break silence first. "Trouble creating trouble" he muttered.
"What"! Sang asked.
"Nothing Pookie! Do you want another one" Sean asked pointing to her empty plate.
Before sang could say anything Kota spoke up. "I think that's enough desert for today. We don't want too much sugar in her, right North"!
"She liked it. So did we. She can have more" Luke piped in, only to get smacked in the head by both North and Nathan.
Mr. Blackbourne asked for the bill and North, Silas, Nathan and Kota decided to go to the bathroom.
"Use cold cold water boys. Lots of it." Smirked Gabriel and got a snort out of Sean. Even Mr. Blackbourne had a little smile going on.
Looking at Sang's confused look Victor gave her a smile."You ready for your gift princess"?
Sang looked at him but he nodded towards Mr. Blackbourne. He had a little box on his hand. The boys came back to the table. "You started without us" Silas laughed.
"Ms. Sorenson, this is for you."
He handed her the box. Sang opened it to find a beautiful white gold bracelet inside. It was intertwined loops with four black designs placed at even distance. When she took a second look she saw the designs were birds. A smile broke out on her face. "Four calling birds" she whispered, running her fingers on the bracelet.
"May I" Mr. Blackbourne asked. Sang looked up in confusion. He dipped his head towards the box. Sang nodded and he picked up the bracelet and put it around her wrist.
"She has such small hands" he thought. He was feeling nervous. He had never given her anything before. The others went shopping with her and bought her things they thought she would like but except for that one day at the golf club he had never been this close to her. "Does she like it"?
Sang looked up to see the fleeting expression of anxiousness on his face before it became closed again. She looked around and caught Gabriel's eyes. He nodded towards Mr. Blackbourne slightly. Sang turned around and touched his sleeves. "Thank you. It's beautiful" she whispered.
They walked out of the restaurant and started towards home. This time she was on Mr. Blackbourne's car with Sean. She kept running her fingers over the bracelet on her wrist. Owen caught her smiling softly while doing it. "She has all of our hearts. It'll kill us if she were ever to walk away." He thought.
