Sang was up before anyone else in the morning. She was still at Kota's house. She finished her morning routine and went downstairs. She was going to make breakfast for Kota and Gabriel, who stayed over. By the time she was finished both boys came downstairs and called Nathan to come over.
"So.... How was yesterday with Mr. B Trouble?" Questioned Gabriel between bites.
Sang swallowed her toast. "It was a good day Meanie. I had fun yesterday, he and I went shopping".
Kota choked on his food and started coughing. Nathan spit out his orange juice and Gabriel's jaw dropped down to the table.
"Are you okay Kota?" Sang started massaging Kota's back.
"I'm alright sang" he said taking a sip from his glass.
"You had fun with Mr. B!"
"You went shopping with Mr.B!"
Nathan and Gabriel yelled out at the same time.
Sang couldn't understand what was so surprising about it. The man does do shopping for his own things. So why couldn't he take her.
"Yes I did. It was fun and I had a very good day" she told them quietly and walked out of the kitchen. If they were going to behave like this she wasn't going to be around to put up with it. They were being mean to Mr. B and to her.
"Sang! Wait" yelled out Kota.
"C'mon peanut".
"Fuck! Trouble!"
Sang just sat on the sofa and pulled her knees up to her chest. North and Luke chose that moment to walk in. He took a look at her face and became furious. "What did you all do to baby" he yelled. He sat next to her and pulled her on his lap. "Baby, what happened."
"We were surprised to hear she went shopping with Mr. B and she said they had fun. We are sorry trouble. We weren't making fun of you." Gabriel sat on the floor in front of her.
Sang moved her face from North's chest and looked at all of them and decided that she would let it go today. She nodded in agreement.
"Give her your present North" Luke told North. While North went back to the car he sneaked a Hershey kiss to her. She popped it in her mouth and smiled at him when North came back.
"You gave her chocolate, didn't you" He was asking Luke. But taking a look at Sang's face he left Luke alone. He could take one chocolate if it brought smile to her face.
Sang opened North's gift. It was in a box rather than gift wrapped. She pulled out her gifts. It was personalized apron and oven mitts. All in light pink they had eight maids with their cows and the words "Chef Sang" written at the bottom. The box also had a thermos in the same color and design.
Every one was looking at the gifts when North spoke. "It's hard to find eight maids in pretty things." He rubbed his neck. Unsure. "I thought you love cooking and take lunch to school.. "
Sang jumped up to hug him and wrapped her leg around him. "I love them North Star. They are beautiful." She smiled at the crook of his neck. "Now I have my own cooking stuff".
She went back to examining her gift. They were pretty. The apron was big, and pink and had frills around it. The thermos was something she can use when school starts. Now she doesn't have to use Kota and Nathan's things to take lunch. North always has his way of looking after her.
They spend the lunch inside the house. And spent the afternoon watching TV.
Victor and Silas came over a little after five and all of them went out.
The boys took her to the marina again. "Are we going on a boat again" asked Sang.
"You'll see. I promise you'll like it" Victor answered her.
It turned out to be a small ship or a very large boat. It was a dinner cruise. They went out to the sea and the music started. The whole night was filled with music, dinner and dancing. Each boy took their turn with her. There were some girls their age with their parents on the boat and Sang could see how they were looking at the boys. But before she could say anything North bend down to whisper in her ear. "Ignore them baby, we are here with you."
Later that night drifting off to sleep Sang thought to herself.,,,"am I being a selfish girl wanting them all to myself?"
********************************
The following morning was a whirlwind of activities. Gabriel arrived early to get Sang dressed and soon after that they all piled into two cars and left. None of them told Sang where they were going.
After they arrived at the downtown area and got out of the car Sang saw Dr. Sean, Mr. Blackbourne and waiting for them.
"Pookie" Sean came with his arms wide open. "I missed you yesterday. The horrible man there had me working" he told her pointing to Mr. Blackbourne.
"It must've been important." Sang told him softly. She didn't want to agree with him calling Mr. Blackbourne a horrible man.
"Thank you Ms. Sorenson." Mr. B looked at her making her look at him. There was the millimeter smile she had gotten used to.
"Oy! Let's go! We need to look around!" Gabriel interrupted them.
"Where are we going?" Sang asked. Before she received an answer Kota reminded everyone that they left the house without breakfast and that had North yelling "you are starving baby!"
All of them piled into a restaurant and ordered breakfast. It was almost ten when they finished. Sang still didn't know what was going on. So when they stopped in front of a rather plain looking building she was confused. After being let in by a buzzer all of the walked up the stairs to an open space that can be described as an artist studio. A tall willowy woman was waiting for them.
"Gabriel! Good timing. Where is my doll?" She asked Gabriel in a rather excited voice.
Gabriel pushed Sang forward "here she is. Her name is Sang."
"Hello darling! I'm Aniya! Gabriel tells me I'm to dress you today."
Sang was completely confused. Dress her? For what? Before she could say anything Aniya pulled her towards the back of the room with Gabriel following them. "Now I know you want Gabriel here, which is fine but I'll dress you."
For the next hour Sang put on one dress after another, some were two pieces that was mixed and matched. None satisfied Aniya. Finally she yelled "perfect". Sang didn't even remember what was she wearing. She looked down to see a champagne color dress that came down to her knees. Clinched waist and sparkles that covered from just above her breast to a little bellow her hips. Gabriel pulled out her shoes in front of her and she was dressed. Gabriel had fixed her hair before they came out of the house. When Sang came outside she saw all the guys dressed in similar manner. They all looked at her awed.
"You look beautiful princess." Victor told her.
Luke was lost in his dream and Silas and North were mumbling in Greek! Kota and Sean smiled at her. When Sang looked at Mr. Blackbourne she stopped breathing. His eyes had flashes of silver in them. She had never seen such possessive look in his eyes before. His eyes met hers and held her there.
"Yes!" Exclaimed Aniya. "It's perfect! She captured all of you".
"Indeed. Shall we Ms. Sorenson" Mr. Blackbourne held out his arm.
They got in their car again when Victor said "we have a little while before it starts. Maybe we could have a light lunch?" And they headed to a small restaurant.
Finally around three the boys pulled into a paring lot. Sang still didn't know what they were doing. "Maybe it's an academy affair" she thought.
They went inside the building that looked like a movie theater to her.
"Welcome to the ballet princess" Victor told her once they were inside. They showed their ticket to the usher and were led inside. After they took their seats a man hurried up to them.
"Everything is set Mr. Morgan. Mr. Griffin. Your program will be at the end. Enjoy!" And he walked of towards the back stage.
Soon the program started. Sang was lost in the dances. It was mesmerizing. She knew the story, the nutcracker. She saw it on TV once but was nothing compared to this. As the last scene ended and curtain dropped she Turned to look at the guys. Tears in her eyes. "Thank you" she whispered. These boys were giving her a life that she could never have dreamed of.
"Ladies and gentlemen." The choreographer spoke. Tonight we will do something extra for you. It is a Christmas special. So enjoy!"
Every one looked at the stage where dancers took places and the music started. One by one nine p
girls came to the front and completed the performance and danced of the stage. Ten male dancers took their place and did their part. At the end of their routine the girls came back in then eight maidens, seven swans, six geese, five gold rings, four calling bird, three hens, two doves and a partridge. Sang was in tears by the end of the performance. All of the audience gave the performers a standing ovation. As the dancers took their bows Sang sat there speechless. She didn't know how to express her love for her boys.
