A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.
A man loves the meat in his youth that he cannot endure in his age.
A peace is of the nature of a conquest; for then both parties nobly are subdued, and neither party loser.
Absence from those we love is self from self - a deadly banishment.
All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff.
An overflow of good converts to bad.
And oftentimes excusing of a fault doth make the fault the worse by the excuse.
And this, our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything.
As flies to wanton boys, are we to the gods; they kill us for their sport.
As he was valiant, I honour him. But as he was ambitious, I slew him.
Laurie's POV
Liam and I went to the doctors about a week ago to get me crutches. I couldn't stay bed-ridden forever so I wanted to be able to go places. Liam helped me find the best ones and we took to the town. I hadn't really gone out anywhere a lot so I enjoyed how we spent time.
"Oh!" I exclaimed. Liam turned to me and slowed down, "What? What is it?" he seemed anxious. I smiled to ease his curiosity. "It's just I remembered I left loads of my stuff at the dance school but they've probably let someone else use my dressing room." I pouted.
Liam placed his hand on my coat. "Why don't we go down there and see if we can pick them up? What did you leave there?"
"Some books, all my spare shoes, the cards we used and my costume." I listed. He smiled and quickened his pace towards the school.
We walked through the town to get there. Instead of my back route. I don't like walking through a large bustling town, full of people. I feel compacted in some sense. Like I can't get anywhere easily.
But due to my crutches, people were considerate and let me past. I don't like people who don't thank. So i thanked everyone who let me past kindly.
Liam began talking about BRIT School. I explained to him that I wanted to take dance but how much it was a bugger that I wont be able to do it for two months when we get back to school. He was very understanding of me which as always made me happy.
When we got to the school we were greeted by Matt opening up the doors. He spotted us and Liam waved. Matt waved back and he came over to us. "Oh my God Laurie how are you?" Matt asked bending down to my level. I smiled. "Getting better now thank you" i giggled. "God it was like 9 weeks ago was it?" Matt started talking to Liam. "Yes it was. Good on him for being such a brave boy" he looked at me "eh Laurie?" I grinned like a cheshire.
"So what brings you here?" Matt asked. "Well Laurie says he left a few things in his dressing room and we were wondering if we could get them back?" Liam placed a hand on my shoulder. To my surprise it didn't electrify me. Odd.
"Ah I see" Matt said, "Don't worry Laurie we kept it yours and It will always be yours until you graduate" I gave a large sigh of relief. Matt jingled his keys and opened the door for us to go in.
As we went down the hall Matt stopped. "Oh I just remebered *stutter* Oh well you'll see when you go in" He left to the studio. Liam opened the door for me and we went in.
On the table next to the mirror was a large bouquet of rouge red lillies. A small lable on them said:
"Hope you get better soon dancing boy".
There was no name. I walked over and smelt the beautiful flowers. Liam begun going through my costumes. "Which one did you mean?" he laughed at my large collection of ballet costumes I have worn. Including my favorite of them all Swan Lake.
"My regular lesson one Liam" I said. "Ah" he said as he clutched the hanger. He rapped it up and put it into a bag. I walked over and found my Swan Lake costume. Oh how i would love it if I could dance in it again.
We genderbended the cast of Swan Lake so I was the Swan King. I was so happy when I saw my name on that list of the cast.
I sat on the chair and went through the drawers to find some more things. I found many actually. Including the ring that Liam gave me. I placed it in my hair again and admired myself in the mirror. Liam came up behind me and looked into the mirror.
He had found the books and my shoes. I opened a drawer and pulled out a bag of ribbon.
I sat on the chair and Liam sat on the floor. We sat there stitching ribbons to the shoes. Sounds boring I know but we found it interesting.
There was a bit of an awkward silence. "You know Liam" I begn with my concentration on my sewing "all this time we've spent together really makes me feel-" I was cut short by something. Something new and magical.
Liam had crashed his lips with mine. The magnets are now exploding like fireworks. The connection is made and the fire is now burning.
My cheeks scorched like the sun and a single tear fell from my left eye. Liam let go. "-happy" Liam looked down at his hands. "Anne wasn't a girlfriend was she?" I asked. Liam shook his head. His face turned to fury and almost sorrow.
He looked up again. "May I return that kiss Liam?" I asked. He nodded and reached for my face. Our lips connected like two drops of water. His tears fell like rain and felt like lightning striking the ocean. In each breath we took together we caressed eachother's faces and caught each tear. His warm tongue demanded entrance and rammed my lips.
"Open your mouth" he said with a ragged voice. I was reluctant at first but he repeated himself, "Open your mouth. Open it" he commanded. I obeyed. Opening my mouth revealing entrance. Our warm tongues danced. His mouth was warm and so inviting.
I wanted more so I grabbed a handful of hair and forced my mouth further. He took a breath and continued. A small moan escaped my lips which made him slam his crotch up against mine. He grinded us together and he let out small moans.
He grabbed a handful of my crotch which made me back away. Our tongues still touched and I left a small trail behind when I left his mouth. I could see in his eyes that he wanted more. I collapsed my face on his chest and licked up his neck.
He exhaled slowly with a beautiful tone of pleasure.
I stepped up and gathered my things into a bag. I reached for my crutches but Liam pulled me back and clutched my waist. "Why did Anne pass away Liam?" I asked. He sniffed and burried his face in my shoulder. He whimpered and tightened his grip.
"She pulled out her plug!" he shreiked.
I turned and hugged him tightly. Oh Liam.
"You know why don't you?" I asked him changing my tone. He looked up with teary eyes. He gave me a quick kiss and collapsed in my arms. He began to loudly cry out.
"I told her I was in love with you! She was apparently driven my hopeless longing for she relentlessly told the nurses." He wailed. I wanted to laugh but all i could do was smile. I crouched down with Liams help and we embraced.
Surrounded by ribbons and ballet shoes. Liam and I shared a moment of pure passion. And he shared the truth of Anne's death. Oh Liam. You are just perfect.
