Meghan’s P.O.V.

Last night was so much fun. We all went for a walk along the beach after the fairground. Everyone got to know each other a lot more, which was great because Aimee and I got to see the boys as normal people, not just the boys from One Direction. Zayn’s like my best guy friend now, I can tell him anything. Harry is just as cheeky as ever. I swear Louis is Aimee’s long lost twin and Niall’s just adorable - especially when he laughs, it’s contagious. Then there’s Liam. He’s just... perfect. It was just a shame it was ruined by the paparazzi. If it wasn’t for Niall, they would’ve taken a lot more pictures than what they did get. Aimee was still sleeping so I decided to go on Twitter.

Holy crap.

I’d gained like 200 more followers over night and the number was quickly increasing. I hadn’t even been Liam’s girlfriend for a day yet and it already had an impact on my life. I followed a few people back then looked through my mentions.

“@purple_meghan, you are soooo lucky to be Liam’s girlfriend! Treat him well! Xx”

“Liam and Meghan! Don’t they look so cute?” This one had a picture attached of me and Liam. It was from the fairground. That arsehole paparazzi man had leaked the pictures already. Dick.

And then the hate came.

“@Real_Liam_Payne, why are you going with an ugly girl like her when I’m here waiting for you? xxxxxxxx”

“@purple_meghan, you better stay away from my man, or I’ll find out where you live.”

They were some of the less horrible ones I received. As I read through the rest of them, my eyes started to water. I tried to be quiet as Aimee was still sleeping. I got out of bed and went onto the balcony, sliding the door closed on my way. I looked onto the beach. The memories of the past two days down there flooded through my head. The laughs; the tears; Harry kissing me;  Liam coming to find me; our night at the pier... I suddenly remember the bracelet Liam gave me. I looked at it and smiled as the tears fell out of my eyes and into it. I jumped when I heard my phone ringing. I slid the bar across and answered it. "H-hello?" I choked on my words as I was crying.

"Babe, are you ok?" He asked, sounding worried. Awh.

"Uh, yeah. Are you looking something?"

"You’re not ok, tell me what happened." I sighed and gave in to him. Liam has that affect on me. I can't seem to lie to him. He always gets the truth out of me.

"Your fans happened. They’ve been mentioning me on Twitter..." I whispered, hoping he didn't hear me.

"Listen, don’t pay attention to them. They’re just jealous. The boys and I are going to be out doing radio interviews today. I’m going to say something about it on air."

"No, Liam, please don’t! It’s fine, honestly."

"It’s not ok. Aimee will be getting it too so Harry will say something as well. We aren’t going to yell at them, we’ll just tell them to back off a bit."

"I don’t deserve you." I smiled, even though he couldn’t see me.

"You’ve got that the wrong way around. I don’t deserve you." I could hear the smile in his voice too.

"Did you want me for something?" I asked, changing the subject.

"Maybe I just wanted to hear your voice?" I could hear the smirk in his voice this time.

"Pervert."

"Haha, you love it really. Anyway, do you want to grab a quick breakfast before I go to work?" I agreed to it and he told me to be ready in fifteen minutes. That would be a challenge, as I had to tame my wild bed hair which could take at least 20 minutes on it's on. I went back into the room after our call, to see Aimee on her phone. She’d seen the tweets. They probably didn’t bother her. I walked past her and into the bathroom. I stuck my head round the door.
