Liam’s P.O.V.
Meghan looked beautiful. When I went to tell her that, I stuttered like an idiot. "Are you ready to go?" I managed to say.
"Yeah, one second." She turned off all the lights and lifted her phone and bag. It was leopard print. That’s like her trademark – animal print. Just one of the things I love about her. "Ready." She smiled at me and I completely lost myself in her big brown eyes.
"Let’s go then." I smiled back at her and held out my hand. She gladly took it and I intertwined our fingers together. The minute we touched I felt a spark. I looked at her to find she was already looking at me.
"Liam, where are we going?" She said giggling as I pulled her out of her apartment.
"Somewhere." I felt a smirk playing on my lips.
"Oh, come on Liam! Just tell me!" She complained as we made our way down to the limo I had hired for us.
"Nope." I pretended to zip my mouth and lock it with an invisible key.
"But-" She started to speak, but she caught a glimpse if the limo and her jaw almost hit the ground. "Liam! You shouldn’t have!"
"I know, but I really want to show you how much you mean to me, babe." Meghan sighed and I pulled her towards the limo. I opened the door and I let her hop in first. We sat in silence for about 10 minutes. I didn’t mean for there to be silence, I was just too busy thinking about the wonderful night I had planned for Meghan and I hoped nothing went wrong. I could sense Meghan was annoyed that I had hired a limo so I distracted her and kissed her. Our lips were moving together perfectly when the limo stopped, indicating that we had reached our destination. We both pulled away and Meghan was going to turn to open the door, but I placed my fingers on her chin, forcing her to face me. "Don’t look back." I pointed behind her.
"Okay…"
Meghan’s P.O.V.
I was very confused. Liam reached into his pocket and took out a bit of fabric. He folded it until it was one long strip. He placed it over my eyes and tied it securely at the back of head. "Can you see?" He whispered close to my ear, sending shivers down my spine.
"I can see that you’re making me look like an idiot." I laughed at his foolish question. He chuckled and I heard him open the door and get out. The next thing I know, he reached for me and carefully pulled me out of the limo, making sure I didn’t bump into anything. He guided me around by holding me by the small of my back. He was holding my hand and I gripped it tightly as I was shit scared in case I tripped on something in these heels. I had no idea where we were, but I could tell it was near the sea. I smelt the salty sea water and I could hear it crashing against something. After some walking around, Liam stopped, making me stop also. I felt his arms snake around my waist from behind and I felt his lips close to my ear.
"Ready, babe?" He whispering voice sent more shivers down my spine yet again. I simply nodded in response and he untied the blindfold. I slowly opened my eyes, scared to see what was in store for me. They were instantly drawn towards a rather large boat. And I mean large. "Well, what do you think?" I could hear the smile in his voice, it broke my heart.
"Well it’s…nice." I managed to say. Boats aren't my most favourite thing of all.
"You don’t like it?"
"No it’s not that. It looks lovely. It’s just..."
"The water?"
"Yeah..." I spoke in barely a whisper.
"Look, if you don’t want to get on it, there is this restaurant down the road that we-" I interrupted him, the amount of effort he must have put into this and the money, it would be a shame for it to go to waste.
