session viii: Love Blowing in The Wind

*Jazmine's POV*

Huey came over and we had engaged into a conversation and I found out about what Riley told him.. And this is what I said:

"He called you that?"
"Yeah.. I can't believe my own little brother would say that about me. Bitch made? Fuck him." Huey said in complete anger.
"Huey.. He's your brother. He may feel a little lost right now but I can promise you he'll realize he made a mistake. I promise you that."
"You do?" He said.
"I mean it." I said, as I kissed him.
"Jazmine!" My father called for me.
"I'll be right there, Daddy!" As I responded.

*Huey's POV*
I can't believe this shit got me that furious..
But suddenly I got a phone call from Mike.
"What's up Mike?"
"Nothing much, you good Huey?"
"For now man, I'm at Jazz's, you want me to stop by later?"
"Sure thing, bro, I'll let my moms know you're stopping by later."
"Ok, thanks Mike. I'll hit you up when I'm done here."
"Ok Hue, talk to you later."
"Peace."

*Jazmine's POV*
"What's going on with Huey?" My father asked.
"He's going through a tough time with his brother."
"Ok, I'm going to talk to Robert about this. In the meantime, you go and hang out with your company."
"Ok, daddy." I said as I returned to Huey, closing my door.

*Sarah's (Mrs. DuBois) POV*
"Hang out with your company, Tom?"
"Ok sweetie, I was trying to sound like how kids sound nowadays."
"Kids don't say that, Tom, God, you have to sound like you, don't try to be hip like the kids today, you're nearly 45."
"Ok.. Ok, honey."
Tom kills me with that shit. He really does. I had to avoid him and call up my girlfriends.

*Jazmine's POV*

I turned on some music, music that I think Huey would enjoy.
It was so we could vibe out, and not think about the growing pains...

I turned on some Statik Selektah.
The song was called In The Wind, featuring Joey Bada$$, Big K.R.I.T. & Chauncy Sherod.

"This song sounds good. I didn't know you listened to the kind of music that I listen to, Jazz."
"Well.. I grew out of that fangirl stuff.. But this isn't the only music I listen to."
"You really have grown Jazz."
"Yeah.."

Then everything got silent.
Real silent.
I felt like I knew what was gonna happen. I wanted his love.. To outweigh the pain he was feeling.

*30 minutes later*

"Jazz?" Huey said.
"Yes, Huey?" I replied.
"I....love you. And I really thank you for helping me through this tough time.."
Tears rolled down his face, and I knew how he felt, he wanted to break down, so I hugged him and told him,
"It's gonna be ok Huey.. Don't worry, Riley will be ok.. And I love you too... It'll be ok."

*Huey's POV*
I feared Riley was gonna be in some crazy shit.
I usually didn't give a fuck about what he did with his friends, but now.. I feared he'd do something very recklessly on the streets..

"Jazz, I gotta go...", I said as I reached for my clothes.
"Ok... Call me when you get home, babe." She said.
"Ok." I replied.

I left the house and told Caesar I was on my way over to chill.

*Author's Note:
Remember how Hue was less passionate toward Jazz? I told y'all he'd grow out of it, eventually.
And also Huey informed Mike about everything, it'll take a confrontation for Huey and Riley to get him to realize he needs to listen to Huey and know this isn't the life for him.
