*Huey Freeman: Age 11. This is during season 4 of Boondocks - the same time around when Granddad is in debt. Huey, the main protagonist - is on a hilltop with a tree that gives off shade from the beautiful spring sunlight. Huey has a big Afro, brown eyes, brown short-sleeve button up with an white t-shirt underneath, blue jeans and shoes. He looks on as he talks to a girl next to him. *

We're in debt.
It's been crazy.
"We've been sold into slavery, basically." I say to the girl who was sitting next to me near the tree I'd usually talk with her, the White Shadow and the ghost of Ghostface Killah.
This girl had green eyes, blonde hair that had two puffballs, a pink hoodie that went down to her legs, socks and pink shoes.
Her name, was Jazmine DuBois. I didn't have much feelings for her, as I had been against the power that had currently ruled me, Riley and Granddad.
"Well, that doesn't sound too good, Huey. Slavery seemed like a depressing time." She said
"A depressing time? Jazmine, I'm in debt. This is slavery. We are still enslaved and we can't even pay it off. I swear I'm gonna fight back against Eddie Wuncler.."
"No wonder your mind is so revolutionary, Huey. I just don't understand why people here call you a domestic terrorist. You just don't seem like it because of how big your mind is."

She doesn't truly understand what the fuck I'm going through, damn it. She just doesn't.
I swear once we go to Freedomland, I'm kicking Wuncler's ass.

"Huey! Where the hell you been?" My granddad, Robert Freeman had said.
Robert Jebediah Freeman, who had been a civil rights leader, had taken care of me and my brother Riley after our parents died in a crash back in Chicago, and we had moved to Woodcrest. A few days since we moved, we were invited to a garden party -- and lets just say shit got crazy since then and those events led us to here.

"I was out with Jazmine, Granddad."
"Oh so you was with the little cutie pie?"
"Damn, Huey, for a second there I thought you was a gay nigga." Riley, my younger brother had said.
"You hanging with Jazmine, nigga?"
"We was just talking at the tree, Riley. I had no feelings for that girl whatsoever."
"Nigga stop acting gay."

==

I had said that five years ago.
I still ain't got no feelings for that girl and I'd be damned if I let this girl keep me from being knowledgeable, and steps from defeating the injustices of the government, and opening the eyes of the truth to the world. We had already beaten Wuncler and destroyed Freedomland. Most importantly, Granddad, Riley and me were out of debt, we weren't homeless, and Granddad funded up enough money to pay off his debt after the SAAAD chased after Riley for his "Gay" bullshit.

I'm 16 years old now and I'm not going to let the ways of Jazmine influence me. No way in hell.

Unbeknownst to Huey - this was the beginning of something new for him - he wouldn't expect it. Not until he went to School on Friday, where things would change.
