This shit was really real.

Life was forever gonna be a rodeo.
Through it's ups and downs, I'd still get around.
I didn't have to be a street hustler or anything for Jazmine to love me.
She'd love me for me.
Because I was real.
K.Dot said that.

But how could I say it's real and that it's for me when the shit was already drifting..... nah. Jazmine was gonna be by my side.

My grandfather and brother cheered me on. I'm was glad to have the support of my loved ones.

"Thank you everyone. I couldn't have gotten here without the love and support of those who were there for me along my journey.  And I wanted to speak on something today. That relates to challenges. A challenge I face in life is that statistics show that most black males in America will not live to see 21, or graduate from High School or college. As a black male of 18 years old, I can say that I have made my way through not only elementary and middle school, but I'm on the path of becoming a senior in high school, graduating in the next school year, overstepping the boundaries that America has predetermined not only the black males of America, but the entire youth, believing we will not achieve our dreams, and continue to accept being held back. However, it takes a nation of millions to hold back youth like me that are going to carry out their dreams, and I'll go through the negativity America throws at me fearlessly, and headstrong, through a daily basis of negativity, in school, life and in America, and overcoming the challenge of not becoming a statistic and to also stand out from the crowd to becoming more of a leader as I've stated in a personal quote, "Standing out from the crowd can be prosperous, it all depends on you making the right or wrong choices. Be determined to make your voice heard and to stay on a path of righteousness. I will do whatever it takes to see my vision through, with a clear and present message, and I'd like to do that with the girl I want to marry in my future.
