The next morning, Robin woke early due to his new sister waking him up about a fairy coming to her late last night. Still groggy, he had no idea what she was speaking about.

"So this, fairy....what did it look like"

Robin asked tiredly as the two of them ate their cereal, the girl corrected him on the assumption that it had no gender.

"He, not it. He was an adult and it was too dark for me to see, he just said girls need to rest."

Seeing as the girl was two years below him , it wasn't anything more than an imaginary friend she's created. That was Robin's conclusion for it. But what she'd said the next moment caused him to choke slightly.

"His voice was very distorted though."

This had brought him to think of that horrible night, that terrible voice that haunts his waking moments and worse nightmares. Sharon bit her lip and felt suddenly bad that he'd been made to feel scared due to her delusions. Lucille walked in and gasped at the boy clutching his heart.

"Sharon! What happened here?!"

The mother shouted , causing the 7 year old to start crying . Robin shook his head and looked to the girl who just ran from the table to her bedroom . Sharon curled up on her bed and hiccuped softly, her tears dripping to her pillow. From the bed came the man from the other night , he tutted and looked at her crying face.

"Princesses should not cry"

He said wiping her eyes, this made the girl jump in fright from the sudden touch. Laughing, the male just stood at the side of her bed staring her down. Sharon hiccuped and spoke to him timidly.

"How c-can you touch me if your not real?"

She asked with a child like curiousity. The man chuckled to himself and winked at her as he walked into her closet. Sharon followed him and watched him as he shut the door , the man mouthed out .

"M a g i c"

Robin and Sharon had school that day, it was the first time that Robin had actually attended school. The duo had been placed into the same class as one another. Many people had cast looks at the boy , he felt tiny from their gazes. The time for break had come and the shadow of a figure loomed.

"So, you're the new kid huh?"

Came the voice of an older looking child, Robin just stayed silent as he sat with him and his sister. Sharon felt intimidated by this boy, he always picked on her and flicked her skirt up along with her friends.

"..."

The young boy never answered him, he just kept his eyes to his desk as the other child grew angry. Knowing he'd not get a reaction, he moved to another attack, a verbal one.

"You a fucking mute or shit?"

He retorted, this made Sharon shove him away and defend her new big brother. Robin looked at his little sister with shock.

"You leave him be, also swearing is sinful! I'll get my friend to you and he will make you repent!"

She said to the bully as he pushed her over, she fell and cut her elbow. That caused Robin to snap as he stood up and walked to the bully who was laughing at the young girl.

"Know what's funnier than that?"

Robin asked as he tapped the older boys back, this in turn caused him to turn and reply to the other child rather annoyed.

"No, what?"

Asked the older boy only to be punched in the nose and stumble back into a trash can, howls of laughter came from all around and the boy cussed wildly.

"That is."

The three had been called in for a conference as Robin explained what had happened to his sister, the nurse nodded and let them leave. As they did, Robin looked at his sister and smiled at her.

"Thanks.... That was really brave of you to do that for me, you didn't have to."

He stared at her and she giggled softly as they met with their parents and were questioned profoundly. Sharon just winked.

"I know you'd save me , if the chance came. I was readying the favour. Tehehe!"

Night approached and the two separated to their own rooms, however, Robin walked to his sisters room and knocked the door. Sharon jumped out her skin almost as she looked at her new brother as though he'd gone mad.

"Are you nuts?!"

She asked as she walked to her door to close it but, before she did... Robin warned her seriously about talking to dangerous people. Sharon rolled her eyes and tried to shut the door once again.

"Just be wary, something's cant be trusted. Same goes for people."

Robin warned and walked to his bedroom tiredly, his eyes cast to the hallway . The boy almost wet himself, there... There was the same large looking shadow as he'd once seen when was just a small child...the same one that was in his room. He'd been so zoned out that when Ron placed a hand on his shoulder, he screamed bloody murder.

"Richard! Richard it's me! It's Ron!"

The man shook him softly as he returned to his senses, Lucille came running out of her bedroom and so did Sharon. Robin just trembled lightly. No matter how hard he tried, the image of the dark shape was embedded into his brain. The child started sobbing hysterically.

"It's him!!!"

He whined out as he buried his face into Ron's shoulder , husband and wife shared worried looks at each other as they consoled the boy , the little girl walked to her room and sat on her bed. She was mad at the man for what he'd done to her brother. Said man walked out and into the lighting.

"That was mean!"

She squeaked at him in her shrill child like voice, he merely looked at her with a fake sorry look as he once again left her sight. The little girl was wondering now if this imaginary friend was nice or if her brother was being over reactive.

---

Robin had been settled into bed .

He felt his eyes close as his room door shut, just as the whisper of sleep echoed in his ears, so did the familiar haunting voice of the phantom plaguing his dreams.

"Wake up, little Robin"

With wide eyes , the boy stared at a tall man wielding a large sword, he screamed for his parents, and with a flash of the lights, the phantom was gone once more.

Lucille pulled him into a hug as she rocked the traumatised boy, Robin just kept staring at the shadow that vanished into his sisters room.

The bogeyman was now hunting for two fragile birds.
