Robin had recovered in some sense from the traumas that Slade had inflicted. It didn't matter really though as when he would go home again, he knew the fate awaiting him. More death, watch more violence. More brutality if he dared to disobey what he'd been told, so really...what was the point of it all.

"...I don't like it"

Slade walked in and sat on the bed with him, why keep him alive only to do this....but then again, the man was clearly not in a mental state of mind. This much , Robin knew for a certainty. Shrugging his shoulders, Slade just stared at him. He'd been giving the silent treatment for a coupe of days now. Robin frowned, he'd had no right to be angry or dissapointed , if anyone should feel such emotion . Then it should be Robin himself.

"Life's full of tough things, or things that shouldn't happen...you've lived with me long enough to see this and you still don't or won't learn...I'm starting to feel you never will, boy."

What the hell was that meant to mean? What could he learn from all of this, that death comes to all of us, young and old?! Just what the hell was that man playing at!? Was he trying to say it was all his fault. He'd been just a child when he'd been taken so how in the hell was this his fault at all.

Robin just gave in, he couldn't concentrate in this state so he put his mind to the other thought lingering in it. That other person, who was he and would he be returning? He had stated that not all bogeyman were evil. Did that mean that he was a kidnapper too? If so, was he nicer than Slade.

"BOY!"

The loud yell jerked Robin out his thoughts.

----

Slade stared sternly at the child before him but then, he let out a large sigh. The treatment bestowed, yes it was not fair nor was it human. But Robin should have been able to adapt to that by now...maybe...he truly was unable to see his vision. That would be a pity.

There was the option to kill the kid. But then again, that was not useful...he needed an heir, someone to overtake his commands when he'd died. Also, the boy was a pretty good sex toy.

"You're to remain silent. Speak if they ask. But dare breathe a word of the actions at home and I'll make sure that you suffer more."

Standing to leave, the male cast one more look to the boy and then just left him alone. It was time to quickly check the police radar. Hopefully the damned cops had given up cold turkey.

"It's been quite some time...but maybe....I should liven their search up...and dump that useless child's body somewhere. Yes... Throw them off my tail...then I'll deal with that boy...good job Slade.."

The male said evilly as he made the trail back to his home. But for some odd reason, he had felt an urge to run to the hospital again...why? He didn't know but...for whatever the reason, he just brushed it off.

"I'll tie my ends up, then. I'll see to that boy...my main concern. Is evading the cops. I'll let him heal up for the time...then...he'll get a rough pounding as a delicious punishment...mh..sweet...bird meat..."

Slade smirked to himself.

Robin was in the middle of a dream. He dreamt that he was flying over a waterfall..there was nothing but beauty...the sound of animals and people laughing...it was paradise..no murder...not any signs of kidnap..just tranquility. The boy truly never wanted to wake up from this pleasant sight.

It was only when he felt a light shove, did he wake. But he was no longer in that hospital...it was a medical room of sorts...just not the one Slade had taken him to. Feeling rightfully scared, the boy began to sit up...but then he seen the restraint on his wrists and his legs. This did not help his nerves in the least...

"Please...don't be alarmed...I only took you... To save you..."

Came that same voice as before. Who was this person and why did he take him here?!

"You're scared, that's normal. My master will be here very soon. Until then...please don't stress... You're very much safe here...this much I promise you. That man can't harm you any longer....he ...doesn't know where we are ."

This person had a timid but gentle sounding voice. He was clad in all white and had no recognize able features. Nodding in apology, he turned and he left but not before telling his name.

"I am White Owl . I am masters care aid. I mean you only the best. It was....why I was created."

At the last part Robin stared up at the face of this person as they walked away.

What did he mean....created...was he a robot...and if that's the case...who was the master then...this was just all too confusing for him and he passed out.

---

Walking into the building, the male let out a sigh of relief as he viewed the sleeping boy. At least now, he needn't fear getting violated. If he wanted to be taken...then it would be from will, not force.

"Sleep well, kid, we'll talk more later on ."

The male stated as he sat on the edge of the bed and began to softly pet the kids head.

"....The only bogeyman to own you....should be me."

---

When Slade had returned...the sight of the empty bed and a cascade of worried nurses plus police....had taken all the joy from his face...now he had the biggest death glare that he could muster on his face.

When he got that bird....

He'd ensure, that he'd never fly again...this was a promise.

"That boy...is ...MINES"
