The young daughter of the family, stayed awake that night, wondering what had happened to her beloved big brother. The tears she'd cried over his abduction was many, that terrible man who'd taken him... She'd been so foolish to not heed his warning....why hadn't she listened.

"If I had, if we went on another ride....he'd never have been taken....it's...it's all my fault.... Oh Richard....."

Sharon sobbed into her pillow and clutched it to her chest. Her mother came in and tried to console her but it was to no use. After the incident, her husband had stopped speaking. He stopped eating...he just...It was like he'd stopped living....the police were trying to find him but proving useless.

"God...just...please find him...."

The woman prayed to the god above her. But even she knew, they needed more than gods prayer for them to get by this incident. Sharon had stayed in her room all night. Barely eating or drinking. She just wanted to grieve.

Time fastly flew as the clock reached midnight. All the house was silent as with the stealth of a lion stalking his prey, the killer snuck into the house and located the child's room. These people never gave him much, some comics and few teddies and....a bible. What sort of child liked a damn bible? Give the kid a bloody fx magazine. Growling , the male opened the book and ripped out all of it's pages.

"The bible never helped me nor my family, where was god for us then?!"

He accidentally shouted. This alerted Sharon who jerked awake, it was so odd, she could have sworn that noise had come from her brothers bedroom...could it be that Robin had came back to her. The thought of that had made her so happy that she'd ran out her room and into her brothers old room shouting.

"Richard! I knew you'd...com....back..."

The girl went silent as she stared at the face of the killer . Both figures were in shock to see one another. Raising his gun, the killer warned the child to stay in the spot that she'd been. Sharon was so scared that she stayed paralysed to the root .

"You'd not want to let your brother down again"

Stated the killer cruelly as he walked by her and then stopped when she'd spoken to him, her young voice filled with betrayal and sorrow.

"I don't know why you took him...I trusted you...I thought you were my friend and you took the only thing I ever loved away from me...I don't understand."

Sharon tried not to cry out , but it was very hard to resist it. Turning slowly, the killer merely uttered a few last words.

"The child was mine to take from the beginning, leasing him to your family, was a mistake that cost me dear. Now, from your negligence. He's been harmed... If you don't wish him anymore harm... Forget you'd ever laid eyes on him... If not, you will lead him to suffer. Farewell."

Within the flash of her light , the man vanished and his image was replaced by that of her mother. Lucille shook her daughter and hugged her.

"It's okay honey, they'll find Richard alive and well ."

Soothed the mother. The response from her child had scared her silly.

"No they won't....Richard never existed....Richard...Richard is DEAD!"

Sharon screamed and ran back to her room, it was there, that she spotted a note. It read.

"What a clever princess."

That was all it took, for Sharon to scream hysterically and collapse to the bed crying.

Robin woke up feeling very sore, but he'd noted that his skin was still covered in scrapes and cuts. Most of them had healed up or had been bandaged by his kidnapper. This was what he didn't understand. Why heal him, if he'd just be injured again, it made little sense to him.

"This man is very strange..."

The child mumbled as he pushed his body up, tired and wary eyes glanced every corner of the cage he'd been held in. It was a large dog cage, something you'd keep a Dane or a Rottweiler in. It was big enough for him as well.

Hearing the door open had caused him to glance up at the feet stepping down the stairs until they reached his line of sight. The killer placed the sack through the door of the cage and then left the room without a sound . Robin was wary as he opened the sack and looked at the items below. His stomach went cold.

That man had been to his old room. He'd been with his sister. He'd ... He could have... Oh god, what could that man have done to her. Did he kill her and the others. That thought alone had made him drop the sack to the floor and tremble in the spot. Hearing the noise had made the killer jump out of his skin and rush to the cage.

"Those items were hard to come by, I put my own safety at risk to get them for you so be great-"

Robin interupted him with a look of terror on his face.

"Please...tell me she never suffered..."

Whispered Robin quietly to the killer, who just turned his back after shutting the cage, he merely answered as vague as he could.

"She's at peace. Go and rest, for doubting my word, you're to face another test."

Locking the cage tight with a padlock, the male stood up once more and casted his glance to the boy , this time it was dissapointed.

"I got that music box, just of you. You broke it, so now you may just get the same fate . Goodnight."

As the male left Robin shouted up one last thing.

"Please....at least...tell me who you are..."

He begged as he curled into a ball and began sobbing, nodding in acceptance, the male looked from the stairs.

"My name is Slade."
