[ Zania's POV ]
Thor swung his hammer at me and I dodged. I ran to him and threw a fire ball at him. He smacked it away with his hammer. I continued to throw fire balls at him. He hit every single one of them. One of the balls flew back at me, and I caught it in my hand. I disflamed the fire.
Thor grinned at me.
"Getting better, Zania," he spoke.
I shrug. "I've BEEN better," I say.
He laughs and says, "Really now?"
I nod.
"Lets go again?" he asked.
"How 'bout a break, you two. You've been doing this all day," Jane spoke from the stands.
We both look at her. "Don't be so dramatic with your words, Jane."
"You actually HAVE been doing this all day," Jane spoke.
Thor narrowed his brows, thinking. "Ohh," he said.
"I like kicking Thor's ass," I say and wink at him.
Thor laughs and says, "Sorry, Zania. My ass isn't MADE for kicking."
I roll my eyes.
"Hey, I think I have to go now. Eric and I have to work on this stupid system thingy he's trying to build," Jane spoke.
"Of course, darling," Thor spoke. Jane got up from the stands.
"See you later, Zania," Jane said, smiling at me.
"Until then," I answered.
"You don't want to come?" asked Thor.
I raise my eyebrows in surprise and say, "To Earth?"
Thor nods. "I'm sure you've been wanting to see more than one mortal," he spoke.
I thought about it. But I replied, "Maybe next time. I'm going to find Loki."
"Alright then," Thor spoke. Then Thor and Jane left. I went inside the palace to find Loki.
I went to the deck and found Loki there. His back faced me as he stared into the closing night.
I walked to him. When I reached him, I spoke, "You missed it."
Loki looked at me. His emerald orbs stared into my hazel ones.
"What have I missed?" he asked.
"The training hall. Thor and I."
I narrowed my brows. "Something wrong?" I asked.
He chuckled once and wondered, "What makes you think there's something wrong?"
"You seem a bit...I don't know."
"I've just been thinking."
"About what?"
"About you."
I raised my brows. "Is that a good thing or bad thing?" I asked.
He smirks and answers, "Nothing to worry about, my dear."
I was a bit curious, but I moved on.
He looked back at the sky.
I did also. "Beautiful sky," I say.
He laughs once and looks at me. "Beautiful, you say? I don't think the sky can compare to you, Zania," he spoke.
I quirk a smirk and asked, "Flattering me, are you?"
"It worked, did it not?" he says.
Then he leans down and kissed me.
I kissed him back. His mouth moved gently with mine. His hands wrapped around my waist, pulling me close to him.
I giggled randomly, loving his way of kissing me.
"Why do you laugh, Zania Faytum?" he asked through the kisses.
Then suddenly I think of Faytum. My old home. The abandoned realm.
I stop kissing him.
"You can laugh. Laughing is fine with me," he says, seeing I've stopped kissing him.
"No...I was thinking of something," I spoke. Loki waited.
I looked at him and said, "Faytum."
"What about it?"
"I was thinking...I mean its been a long time...maybe-"
"No," he said.
"No?"
"Going back to Faytum is madness."
"I just want to check it out."
"Im suppose to protect you. And I can't protect you there because last time I tried, you died."
I scoffed and said, "Loki, Faytum is still my home."
Then I sigh and say, "But fine, I will not go."
And by that, I meant 'I will not go with Loki. I'll just go with Thor'.
