[ Zania's POV ]
"Frigga, may I ask you something?" I ask.
"Of course, dear. What is it?" Frigga wondered.
"What do you know about Uller?" I wonder.
She smiles. "Well, he is a very brave man. Quite handsome. He has won and lead many wars. Why do you ask?"
I shrug. "I dont know. Just needed a hint on him."
"He's a very good man, indeed," she tells.
Frigga looked at me.
"Say, I haven't asked...how are you and Loki? Is he treating you alright?" she wondered.
I smile at her. "Frigga, if he was treated me otherwise, don't you think I would've spoken so?" I say.
She smiled back and said, "Yes, of course. Its just that...I've never seen him like this before. Ever since you came...his spirit has rose. He's...gentle with you."
"Yes, Loki is very mysterious," I answer.
Frigga exaimined me. "My dear, forgive me for asking...but are you pregnant by any chance?" she wondered.
I stopped walking and stared at her.
Frigga suddenly looked embarrassed.
"Sorry, dear. You dont need to answer that-"
"That's alright," I say, laughing, "Just threw me off. But no, I am not pregnant."
She laughed along and we continued to walk.
Did I look pregnant?
"I asked Jane the same question and had the same reaction," Frigga spoke.
I snorted. "Interesting. Well, now you know," I say.
"Yes, yes I do," she says.
"When will Loki and the rest be back?" I ask.
"Maybe tomorrow. Depends on what they find," she answers.
I sigh.
During Midnight, I crept down to my father's room. I went inside, seeing him asleep. I walk closer and looked at him. I deeply sighed.
"Father...I wish we were back at our old times when everything was perfect," I whispered.
"Nothing is perfect," spoke Uller in the dark.
He startled me and I sighed in relief.
Uller smiled and said, "Sorry, m'lady."
"It is fine...Why are you in here?" I ask.
"I was going to ask the same," he spoke.
I raise my eyebrows. "You wish for me to leave?" I ask.
He walked closer.
"Well...he IS your father. Though Odin has requested of you not be here...But since I am here then it is alright," he says.
I smile. "Thanks."
He stood across from me.
I look back at my father. "I cannot get used to him like this," I say.
"The effects will wear off soon," Uller told.
I thought about reaching to hold my father's hand.
"But you can't," Uller spoke.
"I wasn't going to anyway," I say. Uller grinned. "I know," he replied.
I look at Uller. Hm, Frigga was right.
"About what?" he asked.
I roll my eyes. "Can you at least TRY not to hear my thoughts?" I ask.
Uller chuckled and spoke, "Sorry, love. Your thoughts are a bit too loud."
I tried not to think of anything, which made Uller laugh.
I didnt know how much closer he had gotten to me. He stared at me.
"You have beautiful eyes," he spoke.
I blushed and looked down.
"Loki says they look like the sunset," I say.
"Loki, hm?"
I looked up at him. "Do you have something against Loki?" I ask.
Uller narrowed his brows. "Not at all. Though he did cause alot of trouble..."
"But he stopped."
Uller shrugged. "For now."
Uller looked back up at me.
"Just because he stopped causing mischief, doesnt mean he stopped permenately. Remember, he IS the God of Mischief," he spoke.
I moved a hair behind my ear. I just smiled at him.
"I'll keep that in mind. Goodnight, Uller," I say.
"Dream well, Zania," he spoke.
