[ Zania's POV ]

I woke up hearing my father call, "Zania?"

I looked up at my father, seeing his hazel eyes.

I smile and say, "Father."

"Where...where am I?" he asked.

"In Asgard," I answer. He tries to lean up. I help him.

He stared at me. "You're alive," he says.

I study him carefully. "So are you," I answer.

He smiles his warm smile and says, "Im not sure how."

"Mother...she must've put a Protector Field around us both," I guess.

My father sighed.

"My dear wife..." he trailed.

He blinked and asked me, "How long have you been in Asgard? Has Odin treated you kindly?"

"About a year now. And yes, he and the people have been splended," I answer.

He looks down at himself and says, "I cant believe I've been...DEAD for so long."

As I touch his hand, I say, "You're-"

Then suddenly my father pinned me against the wall. His hand grasped my neck. I tried escaping, but his grip was too strong.

My father's eyes glowed, strangely.

I wanted to scream. Then suddenly, someone hit my father in the back of the head, and my father fell to the ground.

I held my throat, coughing repeatedly.

Odin stood by us, which who was probably the one who struck my father.

I see Frigga come to me and ask, "My dear, are you alright?"

Loki comes in, and looks at my father. Then he looks at me.

"What happened?" he asked.

"Something is wrong," Odin says. Then he walks out. I was confused at that, but I continued to cough. My father laid still on the ground.

My father was put back on the bed. Loki made me stay away from him.

Odin walked in. With him, was a man.

The man had short reddish colored hair, a trimmed beard and mustache, and mixed blue eyes. He dressed in dark navy blue.

"Zania this is Uller, God of Archery. He can also read people's minds. He will be searching through your fathers' memory," Odin explained.

"For what?" I asked.

Uller went behind my father, above his head. He put his hands near my father's temple. Uller closed his eyes.

I grabbed Loki's hand and laced my fingers through his.

"Quantam's mind...has been twisted. The day he was killed, the Protector Field had brought him back yesterday. But he wasnt fully recovered. Your mother must've been killed WHILE putting the Protector Field on him," Uller explained.

"So what's that suppose to mean?" I ask.

Uller looks at me and says, "Your father's mind has been taken over."

"By what?"

"His dark side."

"Why did he attack her?" asked Loki.

Uller concentrated onto my father.

"When she touched him, it must've sent a shock. As I said, his mind hasnt fully recovered."

So this was my father, who has something taken over his mind.

"Can this be fixed?" I asked.

Uller removes his hands and says, "I am not sure. But for now, keep away from him for a while."

I began to argue, but I stopped.

"Odin, if you dont mind, I'd like to stay in Asgard longer. In case of something else like this happens and I'll be able to see what else Quantam does," Uller speaks.

"Of course," Odin speaks.

"You should get your sleep since its still midnight," Loki tells.

I say goodnight to everyone and we leave.

Loki and I laid on the bed. My back faced him and his arm around me.

"I dont understand..." I say to Loki.

"I'm sure we'll figure it out," he says.

I turn and face Loki. His green eyes staring at me.

"Im worried," I say. He shushes me and says, "Try not to think about what happened earlier."

"Can you change the subject?" I ask.

He chuckles and replies, "Sleep."

"I cant."

"Try."

I close my eyes. I open one eye.

Loki smirks. "You're not trying."

I sigh and open both of my eyes.

Then I think of something. "Tell me something," I say.

"What would you like to know?"

"About when you went to Earth. The whole war," I say.

His smile leaves his face as he says, "I try not to think about that."

I wait. He sighs and he slowly tells me of the event he went through.

After that, I ask, "Do you miss it?"

"Miss what?"

"Miss being...like that?"

He scoffs and I say, "I mean I know you were still a bit..."

"Lost?"

"Wounded."

He inhales. Finally he answers, "No, I do not."

I rub his cheekbones.

"Now will you sleep?" he asks.

"Ugh, fine," I say. He smiles as I close my eyes.
