Chapter 14

[ Zania's POV ]

Thor led Uller, Zania, and Loki into the throne room where Odin sat.

"Is there a reason of how Quantam escaped?" he asked.

Loki glanced at Uller. "Ask him, father. I am sure he knows," Loki blamed.

I nudged Loki in the arm, but he didn't do anything.

"My King, I was not around when Quantam escaped. You may ask Zania yourself," Uller explained.

"He killed a few guards along the way," Thor told.

"He must have gone back to Faytum," Odin guessed.

"Shall I fetch him back?" Thor asked.

"Yes. Bring him back. Perhaps you might find Leviathans along the way," Odin spoke.

"No," I blurted.

Odin looked at me. "No?"

"Allfather, why not just leave him there? He IS the ruler of Faytum," I said.

"We must find out what is wrong with him."

"There's nothing wrong with my father."

"Zania," Thor called, "He killed Asgardians."

"And YOU haven't? My father-"

"Zania! He is not your father!" Odin proclaimed.

I looked at him.

Odin takes a deep breath. "At least not anymore. His mind has been overtaken," Odin said.

"He tried killing you, remember that," Loki mumbled.

I couldn't believe what they were saying. They made it seem as if my father had evil inside of him.

I balled my fist. "Leave my father be. Otherwise, I will leave also," I warned.

Loki stared at me. "Zania," he said.

I looked at him. "I want none of you harming my father," I look back at Odin, "As much as I respect you, I will not let anyone interfere with my father."

I storm out the throne room.
