Today is the first day of summer. I woke up at 6:55 not change my sleep cycle.

I want to my back yard which has the best view of the Sun rise/set. I stayed there for about half an hour to start getting ready. I checked the clock and it was 7:30. I knew my dad left for work about 15-20 minutes ago. I took my shower, brushed my teeth, blowdried my hair, and put on my robe. I want down stairs to see mom cooking breakfast.

"Hey, sweetie. So, I see you are still a early bird." mom said looking at me. "Never was. I just enjoy the sunrise and you can't do that at noon." I said. "Are we gonna go to the doctors about my hearing today?" I asked. "Yeah, around 3 so don't stray to far." mom said.

"Ok. Please tell me there is enough for two. I love when you make food. It's always so good." I said truthfully. "Lucky for you. There is." mom said.

After breakfast I put on a shirt that said being normal is boring, short jean shorts, red sneakers, black glasses, flat iron my hair, black nail polish, and changed my phone case to a green one that said keep calm and chill out. I got my skate board and rode to the nearest park.

I rode around until I saw him. The Hayes Grier. I stared until I realized I was about to fall down the stairs. I jumped and scraped my knee. He ran to me and said " Amber you ok." " you know my name" I asked "Of course I know your name. everyone knows your name."he said. "Everyone but you noticed me at school." I said." I'm not talking about school I'm talking about YOUTUBE." he said" you found that" I stated feeling heat rise to my checks.

"Yeah. You're really good. I gotta go. Here." he took out a pen and paper. He wrote something down. "Call me." He said with his charming smile that makes my heart melt.

At the doctors.

"DEAF! THERE MUST BE WRONG WITH THE TEST. I...I CANT..." I screamed but was cut of by Dr. Tomoas " There is no need to scream dear. I know this may come as a suprise but it's happening. Give or take a few months. A year at the most." the Dr. Tomoas said.

"I have less than a year to keep my hearing then it all stops, or will I lose it gradually?" I asked. "Gradually." the doctor replied bluntly. I heard a old song playing before I realized it was moms phone.

"Hello. Who is this... This is she... What... No. This can't be right." mom said before simply hanging up. "What happened." I asked.

"Your f-father h-have been shot and he...he...he died." mom said through her tears. " First, I scrap me knee. Then, I know I am going deaf. And now, my dad died. Am I getting some of prank. Where are the cameras." I said. "I wish there were cameras, sweetie." mom said.
