Chapter 2 : Human Friends

Maki woke up the next morning. She ate her breakfast. Even though she is a vampire she eats human food. Ready to leave for school. Suddenly Maki's mom called her. "Maki! Take good care of yourself and don't forget to eat your Lunch!" Her mother said. "Yes Mama !! I'll make sure of it!" Maki said. Then Maki left

(Time skip)
~7:30 before classes
"Ugghh. I'm so bored." Maki muttered. Then suddenly two of her classmates came over to her desk. "Hello Maki-chan nya~~!" Said the orange haired girl. "Rin-chan! It's not right to call other people's name like that if you are not close to them." Said the brown haired girl.
"But Kayo-chin !! Maki-chan is so quiet! Nobody heard her voice except for the fact that she is ordered by the teacher to speak or read something and singing!" Said Rin. "But Rin-chan." Said Hanayo. "Hey." Said Maki. "Yes/Nya?" Asked the two girl. "How did you two know that I sing?" Asks Maki coldly. "Well.. The whole members of School idol research club are taking a little stroll along the school when we heard a sound of a piano. Then all of us followed that sound and that is where we found you playing the piano and you're singing too. " said Hanayo. "Maki-chan's voice is so beautiful nya~ I want to hear it nyagain!" Said Rin cheerfully. "Well. If you will like you can go to the music room later if... If you w-want ." said Maki. "Y-you can g-go there i-if you l-like. " Maki added while blushing. "Really?!? We would love to nya!" Said Rin happily. "Oh yeah! Our first subject right now will be music right. And our teacher assigned as to play any instrument for our homework and bring a music piece for us to play right ??" Asked Rin. "Yea you're right about that." Maki said. "Well do you have a piece to use later? If you have can I see it?!" Rin boasted with excitement. "Well. I do have a piece. But unfortunately. I didn't bring with me. Because I don't need a copy. Because I already know the piece that I will play."

Suddenly the bell rang. Their teacher entered their classroom and greeted her students. Then her students greeted their teacher. "Okay has everyone brought their music piece? If you do follow me to the music room. Oh and even if you don't bring a music piece still come to the music room." Said their teacher. "Yes, teacher !!" Everyone said. Moments pass through the hall they reached the music room. There are a lot of musical instrument but the only instrument that caught Maki's attention is the grand piano. But suddenly Maki felt thirsty for a reason. She touched her throat because she felt so thirsty. But she heard someone was calling her surname and it was her teacher that is calling her. "Nishikino-san are you alright ? You look pale." The teacher asked. "Yes Yomikawa-sensei I'm alright don't worry." Maki answered her teacher. "Okay.. But where is your music sheet piece ?? And what instrument are you going to use ?? " The teacher asked again. "It's okay sensei. I don't need a copy. I will use the piano." Maki said. "Okay then you go on ahead. And what piece are you going to use?? " Said the teacher. "Okay. I'm going to play Fantaissi Impromptu and Sonata No.37 Op. 9" Maki agreed. Maki walked to the piano then layed her fingers on the keys and started playing. Everyone was awed by how Maki played. They haven't saw Maki's expression like this they are used to see Maki's cold and uninterested look on her face but now. She is a whole lot new person.
Maki finished playing. Everyone applauded from Maki's performance.

~Afterschool
Maki went to the music room alone to play the piano. She sang again. She play it again happily. When she finished playing and singing she heard someone clapping. And it was the 8 members of Muse. "Hello Maki-chan! I'm Kousaka Honoka! Leader of Muse! We are here to give our hand to you and to reach you and make you an idol and become a member of Muse!" Honoka said. "What are you talking about?? I don't deserve anything I don't deserve to live like you. I'm not normal." Maki said. "What are you saying Maki-chan ?!? When you are singing I saw that you are happy !! Your expressions change when it comes to music!! Don't you understand? You loved music and that is obvious. We are here to become your friend not an enemy. We want you yo become one of us!! One of our family! You deserve a friend and happiness!! You are you! this who you are even though I don't know what you mean by your not normal ! But to us you are normal!" Rin shouted at Maki with tears flowing her cheeks. Hanayo and Rin reach their hand to Maki and then Maki reached their hand and accepted them.

'Thank you so much. This meant so much to me. I won't forget this moment. You are my very first friends I will protect you from anything even from vampires. Even if I have to kill my men just to protect you I will do it. I WILL PROTECT YOU!' Maki thought to herself.
