Chapter 16 : Loneliness

It's been a week since the school was rebuild and. It's also been a week since Maki and Nico's break up. They haven't talk to each other nor look at each other.

Muse except for Maki looked at Nico. And Nico looked like nothing happened between Maki and her. And they looked at Maki, they felt so worried because they also felt Maki's emptiness.

"Everyone!! Me and Kayo-chin will go to the CR for a moment nya~~" Rin said and they left.

"I'll just go get something at our classroom, could you wait for us?" Eli said. "Ahh. I'm coming with you!" Nozomi said to Eli. "Okay. Let's go." The two of them also left. But Maki is just sitting there and doing nothing.

"Kotori-chan!! Umi-chan!! Help me okay the books to the student council room!! Pleaseee!!" Honoka shouted. "No." Umi rejected. "Ohh come on Umi-chan... Don't be hard on Honoka-chan... Please???" Kotori sided Honoka. "You two are always unfair!!" Umi said and they left.

Maki and Nico are left at the clubroom. Neither of them speak nor looked at each other. Maki is so silent and quiet. She doesn't speak to her friends when she is not spoken to.

"I'm a monster, after all. I have no right to talk to humans nor love them. I'll just hurt them." Maki whispered to herself but enough for Nico to hear her words. Nico is surprised when she heard Maki's words. She felt her heart like it was being stabbed many times. A tear fell from Maki's cheek and Nick saw it. Nico is now looking at Maki. She felt Maki's loneliness just by looking at her.

Maki gave a note to Nico, she is now reading it. Then Maki stood up from her seat and left the room. Nico is still reading the note.

'Nico, if the others went back tell them that I went to the music room. If they need something tell them to go to the music room, that's all.' It said.

"Why didn't she just say it in front of me than writing it on a paper?" Nico said but then she remembered the they broke up.
"I forgot. It's my fault, she also written a letter for me. I forgot that she told me that she won't talk to me anymore if that will make me happy. And now Maki is no longer beside me. She is crying because of me. If only I didn't responded to her like that maybe this won't happen. If only I listened to her back then, maybe she won't be like this." Nico said to herself and few tears fall from her face.

Nico wipe the tears on her face. Another 5 minutes pass. The others came back to the clubroom and saw Nico is alone.

"Where is Maki?" Umi asked. "She went to the music room. She said that if all of you went back. We'll just cone to the music room and call." Nico said with a lonely voice.

"Okay everyone. Let's go and pick Maki up." Eli said and all of them went to the hallway. They heard a sound of a piano and heard Maki singing. They went to the door but they didn't open it. They watched Maki sing from the door window.

They watch Maki sing an unfamiliar song. But they saw Maki while was singing they saw her crying. They watched her as teared up from Maki's sight. Maki's last sentence from her unfamiliar song was stricken straight to Nico's heart.

'I will always love you. Thank you and goodbye.' Said Maki from the last sentence and note.

Maki stood up from the piano chair and walked straight the door and opened it. She saw her friends outside.

"Why didn't you just call me inside?" Maki said coldly. Maki's usual voice was cold yet warm voice but now it was a very cold voice. Maki looked at her fellow idol mates at looked at Nico expressionless. Nico is affected by how Maki looked at her.
