Chapter 3 : Secret affection

~Maki's POV~
Its been 3 weeks since I joined muse. But something's feeling off between me and Nico-chan. It feels she's hiding something from me. Why is she even avoiding me? Did I do something wrong to make her feel awkward with me ?? It's true that Nico-chan and I always fight between silly things. Oh well I'll just ask her. But sometimes I'm thinking to myself what does Nico-chan even taste?

Eli: Maki are you listening?
Me: Huh? What? Uh. Yeah.
Eli&Umi: Really ?
Eli: Oh well. Since Nico is not here yet. I guess we should wait for her.
Nozomi: Really when I ever see Nicocchi I'll give her a good washi washi !

I suddenly smelled scent . a s-scent of b-blood. It was N-nico-chan's blood!! I suddenly run outside the room leaving everyone behind. Everyone shouted my name but I didn't care as long as I found Nico-chan I'm alright.

I saw Nico-chan walking outside of the infirmary with bandages on her knees.

Me: Nico-chan! Are you alright!?! Are you hurt!?! Do you have fractures?!?
Nico: Maki-chan I'm alright geez. Oh! How did you know I was in the infirmary?
Me: Uhhmm.. Instinct??(I can't tell her that smelled the scent her blood.)
Nico: Oh I see.

(Time skip)
~Next morning
~Nico's POV
'I must tell her how I feel or it might be too late. I love Maki-chan ever since I saw her playing the piano. I want to see her smile.' I thought to myself. I took my cellphone on my pocket and texted Maki-chan

Me: Maki-chan. I want to talk to you later. Meet me up at the back of the school grounds. Meet me after school.
Maki: Okay. I want to talk to you also. See you later.
Me: I'll wait for you. You better come. This is important to me. Thank you.
Maki: No problem.

~Maki's POV
'I've always loved you, but do I even have the chance to be with you forever. I want the both of us live happily and to grow together. But that is impossible. I'm an immortal but you're not. I'm a vampire and you're a human. But I don't care because.... I've always loved you more than my life.'

~Normal POV
Nico and Maki couldn't wait for after school because they will have a talk. Maki is walking through the hall thinking if she will confess or not but her fellow club members called her to talk about something but Nico is not there. They talk about something about the composition and lyrics of the song. And then suddenly.. Maki's sight darkened. She fell down her knees her fellow members were shocked from what is happening to Maki. Maki's eyes became red, Maki's temperature became super low and the worst part.... Maki's fangs became pointed sharp. Eli and Umi kneeled next to Maki. They felt Maki's temperature became like a temperature of a corpse. "MAKI WHAT IS WRONG !?! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOU !?!" Umi shouted. "G-GIRLS I H-HAVE A F-FAVOR. I-I WANT Y-YOU ALL TO GO OUTSIDE NOW!! A-AND DON'T C-C-COME IN UNTIL I-I TOLD Y-YOU TO!!" Maki responded "N-NOW GO O-OUTS-SIDE!" She added.

All of them went outside just like what Maki said. Maki can't control it anymore. She needed blood to make her back to normal. She bite her pulse. Blood came out and she drink it until she finally calm down. After 5 minutes of drinking her own blood she became calm. Maki opened the door and saw a worried face from all of them. "Maki!! Are you alright now !?" All of them shout. Maki nodded as the answer. "Girls, I have to go now. I have an appointment right now. Bye!" Maki said then run.

~Nico's POV
~At the back of the school grounds

Maki: Nico-chan! I'm here!
Me: ah! Maki-chan!
Me: Maki-chan. You know I've always loved you ever since the first time I saw you ! Please be my girlfriend Maki-chan!
Maki: Nico-chan. I-i don't know what to say. The truth is I'm so happy because you felt the same way. I've love you more than anything. I just don't have the courage to conf-(I stopped Maki-chan by kissing her and then she kissed back.)
Me: Does that mean you're my girlfriend now ?
Maki: *smiles* yes! Yes! Nico-chan !
Me: I love you Maki-chan!
Maki: I love you too Nico-chan !
