Chapter 24 : Popularity, Food, Hurt

Maki and the rest of Muse are at Maki's house. They had sleepover last night and now they are getting ready for school.

"Girls, I'll just call my driver. Or do you want to walk? I'm not in the mood to walk right now." Maki said.

"Then we can just use your car if you're not in the mood." Eli answered. "But... Why are you not in your mood? Are you tired?" Eli asked. When she asked everyone nodded. Maki looked at Nico and blushed. "W-well... U-uhmm... I-i didn't get... E-enough sleep." Maki said. Then Nico blushed slightly.

"By the way... Today is Wednesday, right?" Maki asked.
"Yes. Today is Wednesday.." Umi answered her question. Maki looked at the ceiling and sighed. "I'll just go to the kitchen. Then and I'll get my keys. I want to drive my car." Maki said then walked to the kitchen.

Maki get her bento and head to the key closet and she sighed.
Maki went back where the other girls are and she saw her friends.

Maki went to the garage and unlocked her car and went inside. She is lucky that her car can fit 10 person inside. She drived the car outside her house and picked the others up. And they went inside.

"Maki-chan.. I didn't know you can drive a car." Honoka said to Maki with amazement. "Isn't it normal?" Maki asked. And. Started to drive the car and head to their school.

Atlast, they arrived at their school and Maki parked her car at the parking lot near the school.

They all went inside the school. All of them went to their shoe locker except for Maki. She is outside and looked at the bright and beautiful blue sky.

"The weather is nice as always.." Maki muttered while smiling and went inside the school and went to her shoe locker. Her friends went to her. They're already wearing their school shoes. They looked at Maki and Maki sighed, Muse looked at Maki with confusion. "Huhhhh.. I guess, it will happen again.." Maki said and the rest of Muse are still confused.

Maki opened her shoe locker and a lot of 'love' letters fell. Maki just looked at the falling love letters and sighed. Maki picked the letters one by one and her friends helped her. Eli looked at the envelope. "As expected from 'The Beauty and Brains'." Eli said and sighed as well.. Knowing that not only Umi and her experiencing those fans that are doing, but expectedly Maki is also the same. And Maki, Umi and Eli sighed.

Maki put the letters inside her bag. And Kotori spoke. "Isn't that letter... Too much? Well.. I know Eli-chan and Umi-chan are popular and gets letters from their fans... But... Isn't it 5 times more than Eli-chan and Umi-chan's?" Kotori asked. "You know... Maki-chan is really, really, popular here. Not only in school. But also in Akiba. Maki-chan and I went to Akiba and suddenly a lot of people went to her and asked for autographs and pictures with her." Nozomi said.

Maki is only listening to their conversation. She is having a cool aura enveloping her. "Well... There are also rumors that is about her too nya!" Rin said. (If you are asking if why they are still having a conversation before classes... That's because they arrived at their school early because of Maki's car.)

"Huh? What rumor?" Maki asked. "U-uhhh... Nothing nya!" Rin said trying to hide something. "Yeah! Rin-chan is right! N-nothing.." Honoka defended Rin. "I'm going to ask again.... What... Rumor?" Maki asked while smiling a dark aura was enveloping her.

"Alright... I'll tell you..." Honoka said.

"Well... Firstly.. During the opening ceremony. We've heard a lot of students that having a conversation about a beautiful red haired girl and they said that they want to be with her class." Honoka said.
