Chapter 6

{Jen's POV}
"Hey, Jen.." Sebastian shook her awake. Jennifer's eyelashes fluttered open. She had fallen asleep on the couch again.

"I'm sorry.. I'm just so tir-"

"Don't worry about it. You work hard. It's normal to be exhausted don't feel bad," he rubbed her back leaning in and kissing her cheek chastely. That's when she smelled the alcohol.

"Are you okay?" Jen asked quietly.

"Couldn't be better," he laughed sarcastically.

"What's wrong?"

"Well where do I start?" He slurred. "Oh I know," he held up a finger indicating his idea. "Let's start with your little 'day off' with Mr Perfect..." He quoted with two of his fingers.

"Colin?" Jen chuckled. "You think him and I..? Oh my God who do you think I am? You know he's married and I would never chea-"

"And then," he cut her off. "while I was sitting there at the bar, after a couple drinks and a lot of thinking, I put two and two together. You wanted me out of the house this morning."

"Now wait a minute," Jen furrowed her brow holding up a hand.

"You wanted me gone so you could have sex with Colin right?" Jennifer stood now facing Sebastian in the living room. Jennifer opened her mouth to reply but was instantly cut off. "You see Jen, I may not always be here but I know what's going on here. That's what made it so easy to cheat with that blonde tonight at the club. To get even never felt so good." Jennifer's heart skipped a beat.

"You.. you what?" She nearly whispered. Her chest felt as if she had the wind knocked out of her.

"You heard me. You want specifics? Cause I've got some pretty great details to remember her by." He shrugged as if it was no big deal. His hair has been slightly tousled when he walked in.

Jennifer took a step back.

"You want to know how she pulled me by the hand outside of the club? How I pressed her to the wall? Kissed her neck?" Jen's face grew hot. "Touched her? How she touched me? Moaned my name over and over-?"

"Shut up!" Jennifer yelled.

"No, you shut up!" He yelled. Out of nowhere, a sharp pain hit her eye causing Jen to tumble to the floor.

For a couple of seconds, she didn't know what happened. Nothing had processed until she raised her hand to her eye and pulling back looking at her fingers. Blood. He had punched her.

She looked up at Sebastian who's facial expressions changed immediately.

"Jennifer?! Oh my God, Jennifer I-I don't know what happened. I didn't mean to-" he knelt down in attempt to help her up when Jen pulled away flinching. "Jen I'm so sorry I didn't mean to. I swear. I just drank a lot, you know I would never do something like this.." he sat burying his head in his hands.

After a couple of minutes with him apologizing, Jen stood up.

"I'm gonna take a shower and go to bed," she said walking to her room and doing just that. She was still bewildered trying to process what the hell had just happened.
