Hi guys >_<, I know I've just updated it yesterday, but I had some boost of writing inspiration which is why I have this chapter done way earlier than I planned so I decided to post it up anyways since it's just one of the early chapters. I hope you guys like it. Leave comments, cause I do love reading them. And just saying, a lot of teasing will be done this chapter. Enjoy!

Hera and Eli ^ (once again, this is just my imagination of how they look like. You guys can always imagine others. These are mine ^_^)

*knock knock knock*
Who the... I force my eyelids to open, rubbing my eyes, looking at my phone. And when I see the time, I bolt straight up. 12?! This is crazy. God, I just wasted half a day. I thought I was already getting over the whole jet lag thing. Ugh, this is just great. The knocking still continues from somewhere softly. But it probably woke me up because of my enhanced hearing. Who is that? I get up and walk to where I hear it from. Outside my window? I draw the curtains and the light shines into my room. My phone in my hand vibrates and I take a look at it. The disturbing things just keep on going...

Eli: hey princess, glad you're awake
Eli: look forward ;)
What? I look up from my phone and I see, that right across my window, Eli is standing there. I groan. We have directly opposite rooms. I knew I shouldn't have chosen the room that faced our neighbor. Eros was smart to choose the middle room, with the view of the waters. Eli's waves at me and I see him take his phone out to type something.
Eli: hurry up babe, you're wasting precious time here
Eli: go change and I'll come over to get you in 5
Hera: I'm definitely going to take more than 5 minutes but that's okay
Hera: if you want to wait, then so be it

He smiles at his phone and I close my curtains again. The sunlight is so strong, I don't even need the lights in my room. It's a real contrast, comparing this place to back home. It's always raining and gloomy. The lamps were basically always turned on. I go to my closet and pick out a nice green sundress, simple flip flops and a straw hat and head off to the bathroom.

I open my room door, scanning it for anything I've missed and I can hear the commotion going on downstairs. Eros has already woken up, not in his room. I plug in my earpieces, playing the Shop 'Til You Pop radio playlist on Apple Music. I hope this wakes me up.

"Eros, you are not going out. And that's final. Or I'll call your mother." Grandma states clearly, going back to washing the dishes. And he sulks on the couch.
"Morning." I say, and as she finishes, she turns back to me.
"Morning honey. You were asleep so soundly, I didn't want to wake you up. It's good you're up now." She says, a warm smile on her face.
"Your grandfather has gone off to buy some groceries for tonight's dinner. Spicy spaghetti vongole" I nod my head.
"Hmm, sounds interesting..." and I remember I need to ask her if I can go out today and seeing that she shot down Eros' attempt. I'm not sure if she'll allow me to.
"Gran-" I'm cut off my the door opening.

"Morning Ma'am." Eli says, his smile totally disarming and infectious. My grandma grins at him before looking back at me.
"Sorry honey, what were you saying?" Umm.... I look nervously at Eli and glance back at her. He clears his throat.
"What she wanted to say, was that I offered her a tour of the city and islands. Is she allowed out today?" My grandma's face softens.
"Of course darling. I'm sure you'll make a great tour guide. Just get her back to me by 7 for dinner okay?" Eli nods and I let out a breath I didn't even realize I was holding in.

Eros immediately gapes at us.
"That's not fair. How come she's allowed to go out with him and I'm not?"
"She's got Eli. He knows the place well and I'm sure he's very capable of taking care of her." Eros puts his finger in his mouth going "blech".
"So you don't mind she's going on a date?!" I blush bright red like a tomato and Eli laughs. Grandma sighs.
"Eros, you just don't understand. Go upstairs, I don't want to deal with you right now." He 'hmphs' and stalks upstairs.
"Bye." Me and Eli say in unison, waving to my grandma before exiting the door.

"So, we're on a date are we?" He asks playfully, holding my hand. I rip mine away from his and glare at him.
"No we aren't." He holds his hands up.
"Chill out. Why are you so irritable today?" He asks, as we walk through unknown roads (to me at least).
"Where are we going?" I ask curiously, ignoring his question.
"The Rialto, the oldest bridge in Venice." Eli replies. My stomach grumbles and in reminded that I didn't eat dinner last night and didn't eat anything this morning.
"Mind if we stop by somewhere on the way? I'm a bit hungry." He lets out a small laugh.
"Okay princess."

Wow. This has to be the best gelato I've ever eaten. After going for a quick bite at a nearby pizza take out, Eli brought me to a relatively small, vintage looking ice cream shop. I chose lemon gelato cause I've never tried the flavor before and it's amazing! It's refreshing, sweet and sour at the same time. I like eating sour things and definitely have a sweet tooth so I've got the best of both worlds, eating this. I'm for sure coming back everyday.

"How much can you eat Hera?" Eli asks, seeing me finish a whole pizza before and now a whole scoop of gelato together with the cone, I can't blame him.
"Okay, I'm done. Bring me to wherever you wanted to." I say, giving him my most innocent smile. He shakes his head at me, taking my hand in his.
"This way!" He proclaims gleefully, pulling me along with him.

This is that famous bridge?
"Isn't it beautiful? It holds so much history." He says it with so much passion and love that I can't help but burst into a fit giggles.
"It looks pretty normal to me. Nothing that special." I state. He stares at me with his mouth open.
"It's true. Close your mouth Eli, you'll catch flies. Hmm, come to think of it, then just looking at your face might be enough to scare them away." He then recovers his composure, grinning wickedly at me.

"I'm going to get you for that!" And he leaps after me. I squeal and run away from him, dodging everyone in the way. Its like we're little kids playing catch. It's a good thing too, that the streets have less people at this hour because most of the tourists are eating their lunch. I reach a dead end by another bridge with flowers all over the bottom and when I turn back, Eli's right there and he grabs my waist, tickling my sides.

"Ahhhh! S-stop! Please!" I manage to get out, half in tears of laughter, half choking on my words. He lets me go and spins me around with his hand, twisting my waist and puts his lips on mine. Oh my...
